My grievance of the year is the continued trend of making the evil characters good

So Brad Wright said that Amazon rejected his script that MGM had already given him the go to submit an extra draft to shop out to streaming services before the Amazon acquisition. It would be based on the stargate program in a world where the stargate has gone public. Amazon has said they want to do a reboot movie in theaters and do a spinoff show from that so they don't want it tied to the old show

So we actually did a couple stargate hostages 2 years ago, #360daysofStargate #WeWantStargate and #BringBackBradWrightStargate, fans got Stargate to trend on Twitter every day for a whole year and Amazon did nothing

Man that was one large checkoves gun in this episode. Don't think things will go well when they get to Atatin

Honestly this show is giving me everything I've been asking for, aliens check, Droids check, sense of adventures and childlike Wonder, check and double check

Im very excited about skeleton crew, I've been let down by a lot of star wars TV but this project looks good

I agree about captain America 4 should have just called it Falcon movie and there would be less complaining. I'm not going to rush out to see it but have an open mind about it

I will be honest outside of some clips I haven't seen the show but I've listened to both the negative and positive reviews and I feel like the show is fundamentally wrong in context of star wars, even when listening to people who like it talk about it I hear stuff that I just can't reconcile with Star Wars, and I don't like the deconstruction of the Jedi, it's like if you were to write a Superman book but actually wrote him like homelander, these pillars of good should be celebrated not deconstructed to the point people don't believe in good people existing in the real world

Such a mixed bag.

The morality of the show was the #1 issue I had with the show. They simply don’t understand good vs evil.

Something sounds off with the guys mic... it sounds like he is coming thru the other mic or there is a notch/gate filter on. The only logic in the show is this: All character arc's and motivations are subject to the story.... thus subject to change without notification.

I agree about the editing. It does feel like some of the actors were waiting around for their queue off camera. As an editor by trade, I think that sort of lag could’ve been tightened up a little in the edit or maybe planned a little better and that is at the behests of the Director. Great discussions team.

I like how you brought up the actors being in place waiting for a cue, which I thought as well. But I disagree it is a directing and editing issue. I think it is just an editing issue and that the director had some nice shots in there and placements where if the editing was more efficient, it would have worked, so I cannot say it was Alex Garcia Lopez's fault but with such a large corporation, stuff like editing and SFX are sent out and I doubt the director even sees the final product to give a thumbs up. I think Jecki and Yord's actors did a fine job giving the weak script and shone in their moments where they and the director and choreographer could collab in the moment without the dialogue bringing them down.

Honestly I think only Sith should have red lightsabers because red isn't natural and takes a Sith ritual to bleed them and even if someone is darkside I don't think if they aren't Sith they would do it

Even episode 1 still holds up better on big screen than some of the new Marvel films, I feel like they over rely on CGI and then they run out of time and money and it never gets finished because some scenes are top notch and some look so bad

I feel like they want to make everything grey because they don't like being judged by religious moral standards yet they want to cancel anyone who doesn't agree as pure evil, they make every bad guy redeemed but are unwilling to forgive in real life

I don't know how but I noticed this during the doctor who 60th but the bootleg websites have the episode before it goes live. Thats how people see it earlier

Michael Caine really sells this movie with his performance. Its such a fun take on Charles Dickens classic story. Love to watch it every Christmas. Merry Christmas!

I thought this end was amazing. Ro cracking me up with it being slow talk because Andor was slower than watching paint dry

The pacing was slower but you have to remember half of the people watching didn't know anything about any of these characters from Rebels. Literally even Ahsoka was not familiar to them.

Honestly I didn't have any problems with this episode but it felt very late mid season not penultimate episode and it has me a bit worried about the finally

David Tenant does some of doctor who audio book narration so I could definitely see him doing some old stories as an audio book or a TH-cam series

Was a great episode made this other galaxy look different and I loved the whale bone yard

I really think I have a good take on what the lesson was Ahsoka is paralyzed by her fear of getting it wrong, of causing more harm than good. She saw the Jedi fail she saw her master fall to the Darkseid, she feels unworthy but more untrustworthy to be a Jedi and train a Palawan. If she goes into battle with this second guessing she will die, she needs to choose to fight for what she believes in, to believe in herself in order to live

While I felt some of the dialog was wooden I feel like Hera finally felt like her cartoon counterpart

I actually felt like the visuals tanked in this episode, not the outside stuff but the in the cockpit felt like watching the behind the scenes of ANH it felt like they were sitting in a set
