I thought you might of got a other manual Speedo so you don’t have the Park Reverse etc on it

You seem to have the same engine and drive train (at least now) as mine. I wanted to do a 2WD-L mod but documentation on that model is lacking. I know there's a switch to put on a specific wire in the engine bay (the same you shunt for a manual hub swap) but I couldn't find any example for that specific year. Do you happen to know how to do it or plan to do it ?

That doesn't look like a snatch strap! It looks like a normal towing rope. Which is why your recovery point broke.

I'd emphasise the point at 2:09 - sometimes the kingpin bearing can be so ruined and nasty that it doesn't wobble when you check for play with your hands! It can feel totally solid! If you've got an old vehicle with no history of them being changed and live somewhere where rust is a big problem (UK..!) then consider this possibility even if you aren't getting play. Look for leaking oil out the seal too.

Weird, here in Russia used automatic gearbox from japan costs about 200$, it is really easy to get. Good luck with your build!

JB23W and JB43 is the same gearbox
