Canola harvest in Northern Alberta Thanks to my awesome cousin for not combining the drone! Music by Luke Bryan (Harvest Time) and High Valley (On The Combine)
VERY NICE! Wondering what model # that Frabill ice shelter is and how much it weighs? I just ordered a Polaris NorthStar and am looking into a similar idea carrying the ice shelter in the box. I have been researching big flip over shelters like the Otter Lodges etc. and I will be loading it myself a lot of the time and I want to make sure it fits and the weight is manageable.
How much height did tracks add to your machine
Camso says it adds about 3”. I would say a bit more. I did add a 2” lift. During the winter jack the spring tension way up since the ride is a bit smoother on the tracks and snow. Overall I would say my machine sits about 6” higher than stock. It really makes a difference in the deep snow.
Great channel, keep it up. Take a look at promosm to grow your channel and get more social proof!
Hello fellow (northern?) Albertan. How do you find the Tesla on our 'lovely' Range/Township roads in the winter? I'm about to pull the trigger but I'm a bit concerned about the state some of our roads get into in winter.
Hey, yes northern Alberta. Car handles really well on the roads. It is the AWD version. I would recommend getting rock guard on the rocker panels as he paint doesn’t hold up well. Wonderful In winter cold, but see range depletion.
@@windyview4445 Nice. What kind of range do you get in winter vs summer? I'm planning on getting the rock guard and maybe the mud flaps to hopefully cut down. Looking at a house on a RR and the 5-5.5" clearance made me wonder.
@@patthetech I get an easy 350-400km in the summer. In the winter. -20 Celsius you drop about 15-20%, -40 Celsius, you drop 30-40%. We are on a RRD as well. Only had trouble 2 times in 3 winters. Once we because of heavy, heavy snowfall that came up past the bottom of the doors. The other was crusted snow and ice ridges between the tracks of the road. That damaged my carbon fibre under belly. It was replaced under warranty, but I learned my lesson
Awesome job!
Cool!
Really cool great music as always
Great music and editing
Ha...well done
Hi Sir Very nice rig you have there!👍 I am after an ice auger carrier. Been looking at Digger, seems ok,but some say it that it is not stable when we are moving from one place to the other. Also looking at the Jaw Of Ice,that seems very hard to find ,except Amazone which is asking like 320 which is more then twice what Cabella was selling it,but anyways they are not keeping them anymore . You Auger rack seems pretty solid and nice. May i know what exactly what are those ? Thanks, and again congradulation on that set up! Mario
Mario M , they are Kolpin double racks I mounted to a a piece of angle iron. It has worked really well.
Windyview Thanks for taking time to write me back. Appreciate it,i will check that out. Cheers from cold Ont. Canada
I like that I have a rzr I am going to try and get set up Might look odd but will get me there
Very nice! We work our butts off to have fun toys.
That's a good looking rig. Too bad Pete lost his favorite lure, major drag : ( I hate loosing lures while fishing....it's so annoying but it gives me a reason to go out and buy some new ones.
Love the Song!
Hi there anyway you could get in touch with me. I'm looking to do a float on this same stretch but we would like to go all the way to valleyview. Could you email me and we can swap number so I can pick your brain about the trip. Cheers Keith kbeecraft@hotmail.com
