I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

NTTD and the Moonwatch are my two. While I have no plans to sell either, it would be nice to see if they can make money. However the NTTD can be bought used for as little as $6 to $7k so that will take a while to grow.
