Ride it as a thruster with K2.1 fin templates and it will be a top 5 all time guaranteed.

I never liked this template and Daniel's video has him on one too small and the dynamics seem off. I'm a big fan of others like the Cymatic.

Thank you for the honest feedback! Takes a lot of courage to be honest in a board review nowadays! Everyone I watch is overwhelmingly positive, which defeats the purpose of actually reviewing a board. I know the lack of constructive criticism comes from not wanting to trash a shaper or lose a sponsorship. But honest transparent feedback is essential! Thank you! On another note, Do you feel the lightness of the helium construction came into play? If I remember correctly, the Gamma has a stringer and has a little more weight compared to other helium boards. Love hearing feedback from people who rip. Cheers!

Great video! Cool to see all the boards in one go. Are there any downsides to the spitfire in comparison to the gamma? Personally I like fast boards and I usually surf in smaller waves, so I think the spitfire would be good. But your surfing looked good on the gamma, the waves were much better as well. Does the gamma provide anything that the spitfire doesn't? Why do you choose it over the spitfire when the waves start to get good? Thanks

Cool review, man. The things I like about your review: your honesty; you give your height, weight, and the exact dimensions of the boards you are using; and you show video of the boards in action. So many of the reviewers on TH-cam come off as salesman with way too much hype; I think they are actually getting paid by the surfboard companies; and, therefore, I do not trust them. However, your review is not like that.

Good review dude, and you are a great surfer. I bought a greedy beaver 6’10 for about a year, and it was waaayy too much volume for me. I just recently traded it in for a greedy beaver 5’6. Much better choice for me personally.

Your weight could be suited for the 5'7 or even 5'6 version.

If your sponsored by firewire Australia then why wouldn't then send you 3-5 helium evos in the size you want?!?! Considering you said you had 15 in left. Which you obviously didn't buy with your own money. Sounds like tomo won't be shaping any custom boards for you grom!!!

I had a 5’2 helium evo as well and i had issues with it as well. I think the problem is that board is too wide and the helium tech flexes too much!! I even think the 5’1 is a little wide, but the dims on the 5’1 are much better. Thanks for being honest mate!! Let’s shred soon! 🤙 yewwww!!!

Definitely the EVO, like yourself I’ve had 10 EVO, found the Helium to be the best!! I’ve had one Cymatic, if Firewire brought them out in Helium I’d get on just to have in my quiver...Helium Gamma goes off!!! And just had 2 surfs on the FRK love it!!!

G'day, I'm considering buying either a Cymatic or Evo. I have seen your reviews on both, and just want to ask how they differ in feel and performance on a wave? Is one quicker than the other? Do they both accelerate quickly as soon as you get to your feet? Anything you could add?

Yeah Dan! That was dope to see all those different FIREWIRE shred sleds in action. Sick reverses mate! I would love to hear your thoughts on the differences between LFT, Timbertek & the new Helium. Surfboard technology has entered the space age and even better that it’s more eco 🌍 friendly!

Did you also try the wide (average Joe) dimensions of the Gamma? How do these perform in more average day to day waves?
