Suburban Train On the Cascais Line Coming By and Depart, Blue Diesel Loco Brings and Tows CP Units.
It was 10:40 am at Carcavelos Station, when i saw the suburban train 19034 from Cascais and stop at the station, and depart to Cais do Sodré.
17 minutes later, the English Electric diesel locomotive 1455 with the blue colour and white stripes appeared, and stopped at the signal, awaiting for a train to enter the Park, so that can roll towards the station.
After 5 minutes, the locomotive reached the station, the manueverer told the driver about the radio channel, so that they can communicate during the manuevers, the manueverer to enter the CP unit, and the loco began shuting, heading to the park.
I exited the station, and headed to the bus stop,which is on the south side to get a better view of the arrival of the loco shunting the cp unit by going at
6 mph and reached track 2 of the Park.
Then, the CP unit 3162 initiate manuevers from track 3 to the entrance, where the manuever came out and went to the board to realine the switches, so that can couple up to the loco, to do that, had to turn off the batteries and low down the pantograph.
The locomotive coupled up the CP unit, did brake tests, and send it on the way, i took the trains to Santa Amaro de Oeiras, where i saw the 1455 passing with CP unit 3162 by going at 35 mph, heading to Campolide.

Comboio suburbano na Linha de Cascais a chegar e a partir, locomotiva a diesel azul traz e reboca unidades da CP.
Eram 10h40 na Estação de Carcavelos, quando vi o comboio suburbano 19034, vindo de Cascais, parar na estação e partir em direcção ao Cais do Sodré.
17 minutos depois, a locomotiva diesel English Electric 1455, de cor azul e listas brancas, apareceu e parou no sinal, aguardando a entrada de um comboio no Parque, para que pudesse seguir em direção à estação.
Passados ​​5 minutos, a locomotiva chegou à estação, o manobrador informou o maquinista sobre o canal rádio, para que pudessem comunicar durante as manobras, o manobrador entrou na unidade da CP, e a locomotiva começou a fechar, dirigindo-se para o parque.
Saí da estação e dirigi-me para a paragem de autocarros, que fica no lado sul, para ter uma melhor visão da chegada da locomotiva que faz a manobra da unidade CP, indo em
6 mph e chegou à pista 2 do Parque.
De seguida, a unidade CP 3162 iniciava as manobras da via 3 até à entrada, onde a manobra saía e ia até à placa para realinhar os interruptores, para que pudessem acoplar à locomotiva, para tal, era necessário desligar as baterias e por baixo do pantógrafo .
A locomotiva acoplou a unidade CP, fez testes de travagem e colocou-a em movimento, apanhei os comboios para Santa Amaro de Oeiras, onde vi a 1455 a passar com a unidade CP 3162 a 35 mph, em direcção a Campolide.
