Surviving Domestic Abuse and Building a ÂĢ500K Business | Chris London
In this compelling episode of Leaders in Disguise, host Gary Parsons speaks with entrepreneur Chris London, who bravely shares his experience of surviving 15 years of domestic abuse. This episode is more than just a business success story; itâs about resilience, breaking the silence, and finding the courage to speak out as a male victim of domestic abuse. Facing the Mirror: Gary Parsons' Story of Leadership Mental Health and Resilience
The "violence" men suffer first, is passive aggression . It's downhill from there.
Respectively, every other person has ADHD. It would be more productive to talk about the challenges of ADHD, medicines for ADHD, weaknesses of ADHD, and benefits of ADHD, rather than how your coworkers responded to an ADHD reveal. "Hey guys I have ADHD." "Okay." Its not some super secret thing to be ashamed of, which is exactly how this video is presenting it, believe it or not. In fact, revealing it is probably a step that you can skip. Just go straight into talking about how it affects you. Not how revealing it affects you. Again no offense is meant, just trying to share my thoughts.
@@imbluepower2708thanks for commenting and yes, Linda was excited to finally get her diagnosis and the team celebrated this with her. As a leader thereâs still very much a stigma of those with adhd and whatâs probably lot clear is that her team treated her better than what she expected, as people fully embraced that and she was happy about that. Hope you keep watching the episodes and thanks for your support, comments are always appreciated
Loved listening to this. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I loved your honesty about how your mood can impact everyone around you. You clearly understand your strengths and weaknesses as a leader ððð
Thank you so much for having me Gary. You made me feel so comfortable in opening up about some things that changed my life forever. As a leader, we donât always have it âtogetherâ as much as people will think
Excellent edition
Thank you âĪâĪ
Just listened to this! This was a very powerful podcast. Peters honesty is very refreshing. I love his vulnerability and also his reflections ð I am old enough to remember the football days where he was the owner so this was very close to my heart. You never really know what is going on in peoples lives behind closed doors. This, for me was the epitome of a leader in disguise âĪ
@@simplicib9573thanks for listening and comments! We were so happy about having Peter approach us and tell his story
One of my favourites so far! Thanks for coming onto the episode Peter - you've inspired so many with your honesty.
Another awesome podcast to listen to. Thank you so much Claire for your bravery, honesty and vulnerability âĪ so much of this resonated for when I was in the corporate world. Awesome facilitation and great questions as always Gary ð
Wow. This was so powerful to listen to. Thank you so much for your honesty and Gary you showed so much empathy and understanding. I think the physical manifestation is what resonated with me personally the most âĪ
Thank you! It was a very powerful episode and weâre extremely grateful to Richard for giving us his time.
