A solo creek kayak float for big river smallmouth is about my favorite way to spend some time. Come along with me today on this adventure in the Bonafide RVR 119 in my favorite creek!
The creek I was fishing was super low and clear, and I had to be extra stealthy to trick the smallies. I did the most damage throwing the new soft Glide Bait from Berkley, called the Nessie (5 inch).
The Bonafide RVR 119 really shines in this kind of bumping and grinding shallow creek/river, and it was nice to get back to the simplicity of kayak fishing, with just a paddle and a few rods.
