Incredible cover, remember ripping it from the radio in 2020...must have played it over 300 times now. Gutted it wasn't on their covers EP, would love to have this on vinyl.

cool
unbelievable things have happened at that shinkuju venue
come to diadema
Worth mentioning... This is the end of an era. Back in '03, the Liquid Room, which was fairly large for a live-house, was still in the rather seedy Kabukicho district of Shinjuku. If I recall correctly, it was on the seventh floor of the HUMAX building at the Cine City Square (presently something of a hangout for homeless teens). Unless you knew somebody who'd let you onto the small elevator, getting up to the seventh-floor meant navigating several narrow flights of stairs. But the venue tended to bring in some really good bands, including some from overseas. Japanese Boris audiences at that time tended to be from the psychedelic crowd, totally absorbed into the music. The live-house closed in '04, relocating to Ebisu as a rather more "upscale" venue.
ugh shet !!!! ang sarap nawet ako
Feedbacker Part 2 solo is just otherworldly, actually, the whole song is
Как красиво! Вот бы их увидеть
Wata my beloved
if your going to rip off the melvins music this is how you do it... @ boris.
Know the difference between influence and a rip off.
I love the part with Feedback.
epic.
i would do anything to hear this live
Unbelievably good. Fuck!!
come to carazinho
youtube translates this to "eat my dear"
@@lpdpy raw translation of this frase is actually something like this lol carazinho's just a city in brazil

Does anyone have any info on the story this tragic song is based on ?
If you google Geordie Roud Song Index you'll get a wealth of information
this band is so good. i would’ve lost my mind when the distortion kicked in.
this is seriously one of the best songs i’ve ever heard from any artist. do they still play this or Flood live? i have yet to see them and i missed their last US tour, i must see this band atleast once. edit: i saw them 2 days ago with melvin’s and i was right at the stage literally like 10 feet from watas double stack, it was amazing. they did play all of heavy rocks and ended with the cover of boris haha which was sick. while i do love heavy rocks and the concert was amazing, i still prefer the dronier side of boris, and would love to hear some next time they come near me, god i love this band.
Definitely go see them, they're sick. I think they've been playing new stuff on recent tours but occasionally they'll do anniversary tours for those old albums and play them in full
I can easily imagine that seeing Boris live would make your bones vibrate.
@@gapthfc i’m seeing them with melvin’s later this month! they’re doing all of heavy rocks too so it should be sick
@@sygyldid you see the announcement that Boris is doing an amplifier worship tour? An absolute classic, can't wait to hear amplifier worship live
Stop rushing, Wata!
Treasure 🙏🏻 Thanks For This Gift
one of my great joys was being able to see them perform this in 2013... "Flood" is such an epic, epic song. Flood. Feedbacker. ---(untitled). all of NO. Boris amazement list goes on and on...
Yeah, Flood live is at times beyond words. Too bad there are audiences unable to fully feel a moment when too stoned or irreverent people deflect from what is happening on stage. I used to hate Atlanta audiences as you knew at what moment someone was going to ruin the whole thing. I was that guy during ELP Tarkus and YES Yes Album live concert. To this day I am embarrassed.
Love this how Squid have covered the track, perfect
i like it. thank you
Incredible. Dang she's sexy guitar skills
I'm not crying you're crying
there is something so magical about his voice
easily one of the most underrated aspects of boris, his voice and the way he uses it is so enchanting and dark i love it so much i love boris

The fact that only 3 people are creating this other worldly sound is just mind blowing to me
4 people
@@drewvandiver4884 4th?
@@drewvandiver4884 It was originally 4 people, but it's just been the 3 of them since 1996-ish, unless they added somebody I don't know about?
Yes, 3 people! In '03, it was Takeshi Ohtani (bass & rhythm gt., vocals), Atsuo Mizuno (percussion), & Wata (lead gt. and tape delays). Nagata left in '96 (didn't want to travel), and Atsuo took over the percussion. Michio Kurihara joined in '07 to cover for Wata while she was out in '08, and toured with them until '13.
@@lightnesstraveling why was wata out ?
Shame on that crowd for not going absolutely ballistic when the distortion hits
It's not the Japanese way... or wasn't 20+ years ago.
I noticed how they weren't talking during the first part, I take that as respect.
Are you a retard that needs everyone to react just like you?
Japanese audiences are generally more restrained, even today. But Boris drew its Japanese audience from the "psychedelic" crowd in the late 90s/early 00s. They were there to ...experience... the music.
13:09 holy shit, the vocal is so beautiful
What's hard to appreciate from these videos is that the sound is cranked up to 12. It's so loud it causes your soul to vibrate. I've seen them 3 times live and each time I've been literally half deaf for the rest of the evening. They overwhelm you with sound. It's near orgasmic.
man i was just thinking how amazing it’d be to get deafened by them live, definetly need to see them asap
Wear plugs… trust me
just went to amplifier worship service a few days ago. even with plugs i felt this
this is great
