videos from the perspective of my eyes as I travel, learn, grow, and observe this strange and beautiful world. I realized, as I get to make the circuit around the country in a van with my partner, that not everyone can see these amazing things I am so grateful to get the chance to see. So how could I not share it?? I have to whip out my camera (phone) and take videos of all the natural wonders and the beauty. Meeting so many types of people in all sorts of places really helps me to understand those very different from me. I want to share that with the world... helping us to see each other any way we can.
Sharing how we do it so that we can inspire others to do the same and not be afraid. It doesn't take that much money but sure takes a lot of courage and motivation. I am happy to answer any questions to help you on your journey too

Planting a Vegetable Garden in a New Jersey Backyard
I felt like sharing my process with this. I did this about a month ago, in April 2021. It was super fun to make. So far everything is growing and my mom is taking care of it, as I am on the road again, headed west!

How I make money while traveling in a van, as an organic vegetable farm worker !!
มุมมอง 4503 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a little peak at what it's like where I work. I've worked on about 5 different farms in my time on the road, following the seasons so I can get work when it's most needed. This time on an organic vegetable farm, which was very rewarding and I learned a lot. Soon it's back to being on the road. I appreciate all the supportive comments I've got on my other videos. I feel awkward talking in...

This is the first music video I've ever uploaded #guitar
I was just looking through my saved van life videos and this was so nice, down to earth and wholesome to watch again, always loved this vid ever since I first saw it. How are yall doing these days? I wish I could find a van like this for sale around my area in Tx, there's little to nothing and most way too sky high cost for what they are. I'm trying to prepare for if my family member in bad health were to pass away since income based housing even in my small rural town is a years long waiting list
Hello, thanks for your comment! We are ok, we are still on the road, but at a slower pace. We work Renaissance faires now. We've also split, and I live in a short bus now. He still lives in the van , it's still driving well but has it's problems come up from time to time, being so old. He is looking to get the engine rebuilt and looking for the right people to help with it. I definitely didn't realize how special the van was and how rare and a good deal it was when we got it. But years later and we still haven't come across anything quite the same, now I understand and am so grateful. I wish you the best luck in life and hope everything works out for you and you find what you're looking for!
That's the best Taco Bell dumpster paint job ever! I enjoy the older vans also. Great video! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Keep on keeping on !!
*Newly Updated Safety Suggestions: for RV lifers, Campers, Hikers, Explorers, Nomadic Life, and Travelers* I just happened to see your channel, and others similar channels recently, and I think that you, and others sharing their actual reality, and some have expressed some of the up, and down sides to van, RV, or vehicle living. Although, I just noticed your TH-cam channel, and other similar channels, displaying van living. I just wanted to remind everyone to Aware Be of your surroundings and Alert, I just posted this anyway to help anyone who may benefit from these suggestions I believe that it is very helpful, and beneficial to others who may be thinking about this type of living without actually thinking through, about the some of the realistic problems that could occur with vehicle or van living etc... People need to know what the up sides there are, as well as some of the down sides of vehicle living. I believe this channel, and other channels have been informative to others, including myself. Although, I am NOT living in a vehicle or anything like this. I feel that you , and others TH-camrs sharing this with your viewers will be very helpful. I wish you ALL the Best with your traveling endeavors. I shared this with several other travelers, as I watched their TH-cam channel for the first time, as yours, and I shared with them this information that may be helpful to you as well to others. Therefore, I would also like to suggest a few Safety tips, and items that may help you, or others in your viewing audience. Although, you may have knowledge of this already, I am not sure, so I hope this will be helpful to you, others or someone. *Keep a Extra working cellphone with you or in your vehicle. You can purchase inexpensive phone with a very low monthly price between 25, 35, 45, dollars a month with unlimited data and text, and some have Nationwide coverage Do your research for the best fit for you Consider Carrying Several Extra portable cellphone phone chargers, and cables. Consider theses items: *Mini portable power charging station. I have also seen outdoor portable solar powered power stations, that can be recharged from sunlight this may be very useful to have, to power your devices. *Invest in a Cellular signal booster for outdoor use, and camping situations to boost or amplify your cell signal and reception. Consider also the purchase of a WiFi signal booster to also boost your WiFi signal. Research to see what you prefer. *Very Inportant: Invest in a SOS distress electronic signal device, this a kind of device can send out a distress signal with your exact location. There are various types of these devices, and including devices that can be used when boating, or camping situations. *Some have emergency Strobe lights SOS signaling with location alerts, and location updates that can be sent to your family, and emergency first responders. Some can be synchronized with your smart watch or phone. There are some satellite SOS texting messaging, locator devices that will send messages with your phone even if there isn’t any cellular signal, or WiFi. With this device your can still text, and communicate with others in a emergency satellite transmission. Check online, for various emergency SOS products, some are small to fit in the palm of your hand. You can check online, and on Amazon, research what SOS devices will be a good fit for you. *Mini portable vehicle battery jumper charger *vehicle battery jumper cables *Vehicle Jumper cables *PLEASE BE AWARE* that in the *WINTER* *vehicle *Batteries fail* many times in very cold weather conditions. Vehicle batteries drain more often in the winter months. Please Keep a vehicle battery portable jumper pack, this is a device that can jumper or boost your vehicles battery yourself without another vehicle. If you have a older battery in your vehicle, Please have it tested or replace it, and consider the purchase a new vehicle battery with higher Cold Cranking Amps rating. Be Aware that Sometimes even a battery that is a few years old can fail in the Winter months, and extremely cold temperatures. Some alternatives to Winter Camping, Travelers, Explorers, etc, if you can find a Warmer Climate Location to stay during Extreme Winter months, or stay with family for a few weeks. Another alternative is renting somewhere although this can probably get expensive. What ever you decide Be Careful, Alert, Aware, Safe, and Informed... *Keep a Fire extinguisher handy *Smoke detectors, and Carbon monoxide detectors can be helpful Keep a First Aid kit with Bandages, antiseptic, and other first aid necessities etc. and good vitamin supplementation, and fluids that promote hydration. Consider installing; *Mounted Dashboard camera front and rear possibly. *Exterior vehicle mounted camera for the front, rear, and both sides of your vehicle. Some can be activated by motion, Including spotlights. *Interior vehicle cameras *Flashlights or pluggin spotlights *Portable spotlights, and lanterns Keep a few whistles around with you, and in your vehicle possibly in your vehicle’s center console *Keep a Sound horn, for hiking this can service, as a deterrent, and a emergency signal alert for others. *A set of long range 2 way radios, walkie talkies, to communicate with others during trips, some have 100 mile radius keep for emergencies, you can keep with you when hiking. Use your own discretion regarding the use carrying of any weapons. Don’t forget to bring Bear Spray Pepper spray Where is allowed Purchase a couple canisters just in case and keep it with you If you own a drone you can use it to survey your area for animals etc. However, Please Be Safe and Beware of your Surroundings. Stay Alert, and Be Safe even when stopping at Rest stops, Truck Stops, and conducting your various tasks. Keep in often contact with your family, friends etc. Keep up with the latest Weather Updates, beware and prepare for unexpected Weather events and conditions. *VERY IMPORTANT* *WINTER AWARENESS* I would suggest *NOT* to travel to locations without internet, or cellular service in the Winter, the reason is that weather conditions can change very quickly, and you absolutely DO NOT want have a vehicle break down, or malfunction, or emergency, and not have the availability to communicate, and contact your family, and or, emergency road assistance, or emergency services. Please Keep in mind that even in area where there is cellular service and internet, in the Winter sometimes there are ice storms that may occur and this can cause Power or Electrical failures, until utilities crews repair lines. *Your Safety is Important* *PLEASE BE AWARE* that in some extreme cold temperatures that vehicle fuel lines could Freeze and causing a vehicle to not start. Just in case Keep your gas tank filled, which helps prevent vehicle fuel lines from freezing. Keep gas or fuel line additive, or gas line antifreeze, that is rated to use okay for your vehicle. Check with your a certified mechanic and your vehicle owners manual, and or dealer repair facility to inquire what is best to prevent freezing gas tank and lines in extreme cold. In the Winter even your bottled Water can freeze so Be Careful and Plan ahead. *Safety is Paramount* *Your Life is Important* *You want to Live to Travel another Day* *So Be Safe* *Stay Alert* *Keep your vehicle gas filled* Don’t ride on fumes, or on Empty. Furthermore, you will need extra Windshield Washer Fluid, Because you will Be driving more often in dusty, dirty, windy, and varying weather conditions. Your windshield will gather dust and debris from long term driving. Also, Remember Because you are on the road riding for sometimes very long distances, and long periods of time, I would suggest investing in 2 sets of tires, and a spare, the extra set at a home base, friends or family’s house to rotate later on, also make sure that you have a spare tire in your vehicle. Check the mileage ratings on your tires they all very. Conduct visual inspections of your tires often, check for damage, wearing, air pressure, etc Keep a pressure gauge to check your tires pressure and a tire pump. Electric, Portable tire pump. what's the story behind the random horse mask?
@@MrAllen-fv9cj I dont even remember where we got it but it was a lot of fun
دحماسه:
What year is your van?
I see now that after watching your video again you mentioned it's a 1989. At the very beginning of the video. I have a chance to buy a 91 for $3,000. Do you think that's a good deal?
Stop using drugs u idiot
My next question, how do you guys have sex in that band like that and you guys need space for each other too. Where one can come in the other 1 goes to work, there's 2 people living in a small Van like that. It's not feasible. Of course, for sure. You're gonna say yes, but it's b*******It's hard to live in around 2 people. You need your space...
No offense, I think you guys are full of s***I don't think both you can live in there without tolerating each other's people because there's enoughfor 2 people to live in that Van, so you probably live in it. Part-time or you both need to separate and go to work. But to live together you'll be buckinheads everything the day too small 2 people..
I'm saving up for a van now for me and my dogs
in this bin here we keep our dishes.. and horse mask. SO REAL FOR THAT LMAO
Kool
😊❤that is an awesome van .
I just wanted to say thank you 🙏 you are an inspiration, I love your manifest destiny style of tricking out your van. The things you gather this way mean so much more, don't they? Kind of makes you laugh at the people with ridiculously expensive vans, sort of defeats the whole philosophy of van life. I have also found that throughout time, God provides things that I need the moment I need them, usually freely or very affordable. I may be beginning van life as well, thank you for putting yourself out there. May the Lord keep you 🕊️✝️ maybe you guys should try to find a very small wood stove?
Very beautiful . It is a wonderful car. I have always dreamed of owning one like it, even if it is old. I love these cars, they have a beautiful taste.
Poor volume and the transcript misses out great chunks of text.
I feel like I need a tetanus shot just from watching this video.
It's not even rusty, what?
@@danielledegutz5800 lol. You don't get tetanus from rust.
If u can manage to save up the money a solar generator would be a great addition to ur set up pluss it's portable to u can bring it with u when u get another van
I love this van!
Do you still have it? After a year we just went from a cargo van to a conversion van we are literally going to do most of the work this upcoming weekend.
I just bought a 1984 one of these and gonna live in it! Thanks so much for sharing! It doesn't have the extended roof though, so I'm a little worried lol
Keeping the dream alive, blessings! (g30 owner)
Everyone fk off...One of your kind just shot someone!
Keep up the good work..Producers!..One of these days you wont get laid for teaching these layable ones how to use and read a USA tape!
you didnt have a dad or not!
Great job making it work! Enjoy your adventures!
I like your dino van friend - very cute.
*Get a deisel heater and invest in a proper solar rig, the bare cheaper than ever right now. Do everything you can to make a proper comfortable build WHILE THE CURRENT ECONOMIC STRUCTURE is standing. There is a massive shut down imminent*
Very nice build. It looks very efficient the way you have everything you need stored away but still handy. I just bought my conversion van 2 weeks ago and am still doing the mechanicals and once completed, I will begin the build. Thanks for sharing your van and I wish you both many miles of great times and safe travels.

Great job!!
Really nice work. You two have built a really awesome camper van!! Enjoy!!! 👍👍👍🚙🏞🌞
So Kool, consider me inspired.

SHE IS VERY SWEET GOOD LUCK TO HER AND BOYFRIEND
Looks great you didn’t waste money and you made it the best that you could and it works for you and that’s all that’s important❤️
this is sweet! great way to integrate things learned! I was travelling and doing work tarde for an organic farm this year too! was so humble and sweet to see the man come and sit on the hey bail watching and admiring, aweh my heart ! thanks for sharing your process !!
I just came across your channel.. Are u kidz still traveling?
Yep we do ren faires now
@@danielledegutz5800 What's that? Fairs? I got tired of traveling and had to settle down.. But been looking for a van or trailer to build out and take off again here soon.
Dude you got that van with 80k miles for only $2k?!
Might have been 180k, we're not sure.. also it was in Georgia, like the cheapest place to get a vehicle or pretty much anything
Was the camera guy eating the whole time? Cool van, but I had to mute it half way through for all the lip smacking and heavy breathing.
Thank you so much for the inspiration! I just bought an 1981 Vandura and my hope of getting it hooked up quickly faded when I watched all the remodels. This is my style right now because of my financials. Thank you so so much! Can you tell me more about the inverter?
I'm so glad we are able to inspire you. You can do it with less than you might think. Minimalism is real. You can get an inverter like that at Best buy, just ask for a 12 volt adaptive inverter
The bed that folds down mine has the same but it looks like it's not going to be long enough for me is there any special preparations you did to make it comfortable that you can stretch out? I'm 5'8
My partner is 6'5" he would sleep diagonally or stick his feet out the sliding window. We have since then built a bed going the other way in the van. It is full size and much more comfortable. I imagine at 5'8" you could get away with just sleeping diagonally on it
@@danielledegutz5800 no way I couldn't stick my feet out the window n sleep lol I'd feel like something could grab me 😆
Thanks for sharing and allowing me to realize everything doesn't have to cost so much to do van life( part time for me) without all the overpriced cheaply made ones I saw at the rv dealerships today. It is insane what they're asking for things you can do yourself like hanging a net to keep bugs out $780 crazy
Yea it doesn't take that much!
Look into Luci Lights. They are solar, no batteries. Just leave them on the dash every morning. Work really well.
Love your van! I like how resourceful you guys are!

Good job Danielle. Your boyfriend is lucky to have you because you know how to get things done and you chip right in and do it. I am proud of you because you remind me of my wife who is also good at some of the same things that you are. I am lucky to have her. We also have a 1985 GMC custom van. We are restoring it as well. Good luck and keep at it. Thanks for the video.
Thank you. Good luck on your restoration
My partner says we really appreciate the support
