First beat after I lerand 2 weeks of music theory (and Piano)

I actually think music theory is fun! It gives me the ability to study other people's music and sparks more creative thoughts, I glad that I finally star to learning it. I'm still in the very basic stages, and I can't imagine what those who can effortlessly play beautiful chord progressions and quickly add passing chords have practiced, I just need to stick to the right practice, and with time,...

Instead, I went for a slow, chill beat. With low swing, if the details aren't managed well, the drums can easily lose their soul. Once you've mastered this workflow, your head-nodding b...

    What plugin or plugins are you using for the strings, bells, bass, lead, etc? The reason I'm asking is because I want to buy some new plugins, but I don't know what one's they are, or which one's you're using?

    • @Nitrate1984
      @Nitrate1984 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Everything I made this month used the Korg Triton plugin version. You can try it out first to see if it works for you. A couple of years ago, I bought Omnisphere, which is a great plugin, but I didn’t enjoy working with it. Maybe it has too many presets, and I’m too lazy to check them one by one, so I couldn’t find the exact sound I wanted. So yeah, definitely try it out before buying! 😁😁😁

    • @natanunorthodox
      @natanunorthodox 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Nitrate1984 Are you using the Triton plugin off of your computer and recording them sounds into your MPC, or do you have a Triton plugin that can be used in stand alone as a plugin on the MPC? If so, where did you get it, and if it doesn't come as a plugin that can go into the MPC, how are you recording it into your MPC? Thanks for responding to my comment.

      @@natanunorthodox I mainly use Instrument plugins within a DAW, usually Ableton Live. I route the output from the instrument track to my audio interface, then connect the output from the audio interface to the MPC One's input using a cable.

    the problem with music is that it often comes in the form of a really good 4 bar *IDEA* but this makes us think in 4 bar *LOOPS* when we should be thinking of expressing that IDEA multiple ways across multiple 4, 8, 16 bar patterns that change with the idea too. if you can get the idea out 4 or 5 different ways, that's 4 or 5 different patterns you can put it to and go back & forth between.

    • @cavrenodem2436
      @cavrenodem2436 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's very easily done through proper arrangement, usually done in the DAW. Once a person begins to arrange a piece of music in their DAW, they can easily add an intro, pre-chorus, bridge if need be, extra/different elements in the second verse, outro. It's really not hard at all, you just need to listen to it all the way through a few times and add variations here and there where needed.

    • @flowmobeats
      @flowmobeats 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You're right I think we need to think with pattern rather than bar/loop. But it's not easy. Arrangement is 60% of the work.

    You can make IT end with prelude at the Last Part of the eights bar Beginning at 3/4 in the 8th bar There you can adjust the melody fir this short time creating tension repeating Just two notes repeating to the Drums also pushing up Dj juggles are used Like this making IT pushing emotion all the way up The oppsite you can use fir the Refrain or Chorus If IT should Release the tension of the Part This way you dont need to Change the melody thst much And in the 3/4 of the 16th bar you can Just Play too Long notes with the Same prelude of the Drums You will See IT Takes Out from tension and leads Back into the Sample ITS a very good instrumental In the Refrain you can also Just erase parts of your Main Loop Then in the Refrain Just stays a Part of the whole melody leading to Attention of other elements of your whole arrangenent or Instrument set This way ITS Just one Loop getting some Changes on Ends to create and Release tension plus IT in the Refrain Part IT will BE a reduced Version of the Loop The Last Thing you can try fir arrangement IS that you Take Out parts of the Drums on certain Points so that the Focus goes on Just two elements in between that can simply make IT way mor attraktive to listen because you presenting some Main Instruments fir ITS own or If Theres a Rapper or singer you will Set the Focus on this while also giving the Chance vor different flow because Theres Just less rhytm melody elements I recommend you to watch rock and heavy metal Arrangements espacially the parts where they use Bridges , preludes to introduce some Changes In rock music preludes IS Often following by the Bass and a reduced Part of the melody or the lead guitar In HipHop this IS used in a very simple way , and the Most Instrumentals IS based on less chanels with Instruments Or you have a very good Producer You can Always Check on how your Instrumentals work by using acapellas Even If ITS Not the perfekt Match you can find spots where you can Imagine how everything sounds

The hardest part is finding the right words to express what I want, and making sure they’re accurate enough to convey my thoughts. My "loading speed" is like 90s internet, slow and sloppy. I hope one day I'll speak English like it's my native language.
