Not funny. The character of Ralph Furley was rapey and vile. I remember seeing this episode (a syndicated rerun) back when I was in SIXTH GRADE and being absolutely disturbed and disgusted! Lana was not interested in Mr. Furley. She never was. I saw that syndicated episode too. An earlier one. When Lana BLATANTLY AND DIRECTLY said: "You just stay away from me, Mr. Manager!!" She. Told. Him. To. STAY. AWAY. From. Her!!!! Then she walks away and you see that stupid Furley saying (or mouthing?): "She loves me!" Oh ha ha ha went the audience!! How completely reprehensible that they literally whooped and hollered during THIS scene too! Well I never laughed. It’s sexual harassment and It’s gross. Call me a Karen if you want. I don't care. It's TOTALLY awful and 50,000% the wrong message to send to young girls...or anyone!!!!!

This scene and movie always makes me laugh, Comedy Gold.

I had a boss who was so like Loggia is, in this scene, it was uncanny. They even looked vaguely alike. Yeah, he had a temper, and it was hilarious when we got to see him chew somebody out (unless you were the poor shit he was directing his wrath at, hee, hee!) I saw him lose it on this one idiot, one time, just like Loggia does at the end, here. He was firing this real dogfucker guy (who none of us could stand), when the guy threatened to take him to the labour board. He just lost it.

What I love about this scene is that he not only got his groove back, but the people cheered as he challenged the union in regards to their use of members' contributions!
