take a journey to the heart of the system and try to clear out the virus that is plaguing your circuits and escape back into reality, or decide to stay inside the system instead, the choice is yours.
a complicated patch this was, the original sounds were created by cross modulation of a Behringer Kobol (graciously supplied to me by the awesome music Discord Server, The Feed) and a Behringer Neutron. the outputs of each were sent through a pair of Zoom AMS 22 interfaces into VCV Rack for further FX and recorded into 4 stereo stems; one from each of two different FX chains plus the raw output of the Kobol and Neutron respectively. Tihs is the top left patch on the screen.
the patch at the bottom right is where i mixed together the two raw stems and sent them through some more FX including a pair of polynucleus modules from Sapphire set to handle audio input as an odd reverb and the Spork and Sifter granular modules from Path Set with modulation provided by the Chaos simulator Genie from RPJ.
the patch to the bottom left added the final FX onto the recording from patch 2 played back at 50% speed and fed through 5 variations of Clouds using the Monsoon, Parasite, and Kammerl Beat-Repeat variations from Sanguine Modules of the firmware with one copy of the original from Audible Instruments.
the final mixing and mastering was done in Adobe Audition where the the other two original FX stems from the first patch were slowed 50% and lined back up with the output of patch 3 mixed together and mastered to give us this #soundscape
