You got both of those wrong. PTU adds small backgrounds to the tv depending on the level you are playing, and in normal pt it just has a color similair to the bg of the level as the background.

just remove lap 2 portal

cause lap 4+ mods just kinda suck at capturing why lap 3 was so good in the first place (rant incoming) like, lap 3 was an inherently good concept because 1. pizzaface was already a threat beforehand 2. he acts as an actual timer in a way (he instantly ends your run) and 3. its not overcomplicated. he's a fair threat but lap 4 just seemed to shove in useless threats (snick.exe can LITERALLY be killed with a grab and why is there even a war timer. you can easily complete the lap far before its even at the 30 second mark) with no regard for evolving the concept of another lap other than "ermmm snick.exe is an unused threat so he must be powerful!" and lap 5 just adds in a ghost john which might be threatening but like. most of the time nah not really and dont even get me started on those stupid infinite lap mods

@mushroomsalad5525 not all do. In some Snick jumpscares you and you literally can’t move for 5 seconds… And Lap 5 is literally Lap 3 music too

​@mushroomsalad5525 Snick isn't a useless threat. He's not SUPPOSED to be a threat. The reason why I liked lap 4 is that the so called threat, instead acted as support for pizzaface. Snick isn't supposed to instakill you. He's supposed to get you killed when you're in a tight spot. Snick is a prevalent problem throughout most levels because of this. And if you want the WAR timer to be a threat, just use the lap hell hotfix mod.

@@mushroomsalad5525If you couldn’t just grab Snick, some levels would just be genuinely impossible. He IS a threat to your run, and makes you evolve your path towards the exit by being an additional obstacle. For Pizzaface, you generally just wanna keep distance since he’s at the start of the room, but Snick comes off screen at some of the worst times, and that means you have to actually THINK on some levels. He’s there to be a menace to your playstyle

literally what are you supposed to do about a 5th lap besides "ooh look here's a minor mechanic that might fuck up your run if you don't know enough about it!" the only other thing I can think of is "wow it's pizzaface but again!!"
