AGH this is phenomenal!! chills, literal chills!! the timing is immaculate, and the song choice and scenes you put to the lyrics are just *chefs kiss* amazing job, i definitely see myself rewatching this many times in the future!

Realmente quisiera grabar un audio explicando lo fantástico que te salio pero mejor lo escribo jsjsj OH GOD. I DIDN'T EVEN READ THE MANGA, I ONLY WATCHED THE SERIES BUT THIS, THE FEELING, IT SUITS PERFECTLY WITH THISTLE. I love the way you managed to convey Thistle's story.
me screaming 'doomed siblings' in the background. god the entirety of thistle's story is so tragic. his happiness was so, so brief. he did everything out of love but got too obsessed to see how his actions affected his loved ones.
.................................................. in fairness, the Lion crippled him with it nibbling on his desires to the point he was too damaged to properly communicate with, at least not until a position of power had been achieved. If literally anyone else had been there with Laios, they might've actually got through to him as he was so close to getting it. Lion only a ate a few of Marcille's desires (warranted he mentions explicitly he ate the ones that would get the way of pushing her to achieve her main dream which would also allow his end-game, so he was much more selective than he was with Thistle) and it was a massive pain in the butt to get her to relinquish the Dungeon Lord position. Lion just underestimated how quickly Thistle's paranoia would spread to him as well and he ended up full sealed and could barely do anything (otherwise he'd have taken Thistle out within 5-10 years of being Dungeon Lord to find a new fresh target, since Thistle kept refusing his recommendation to open the dungeon up to the sky for the villagers (and him)).

yesss this is so good!!! you have a very good understanding of thistle's character and motivations!! i love how you intersperse scenes from thistles backstory alongside the current timeline to contrast how he changed over time - not just bc of the dungeon/winged lion, but also the weight of his responsibilities and expectations put upon him....he wasnt always like this....he was once a boy who worked so hard to keep his loved ones and kingdom safe.... he keeps trying to solve problems, but more keep coming and he keeps losing control, until in the end, the lion eats him and he loses everything that remained... the ending shot with the empty dining table is perfectly haunting
