Hi, I did get my salary from my company as vacation pay since i went to my home country for emergency after getting completion letter. I havent still applied for my PGWP. Will this be an issue for my application as i have received a payment from my company after receiving the completion letter.

I will be graduating in December 2024. I understand that under the new rules, students may need to take the IELTS before applying for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Could you clarify if this requirement applies to all students? For instance, we applied for Study Visa at June 2022 and began our studies in January 2023. Given that this is our final semester, time is limited, and we would like to know if we need to take the IELTS before applying for the PGWP.

Increasing caps and deportations are happening for a reason. Don't listen to the non-Canadian pseudo 'agents' who are still unscrupulously and frequently marketing Canada & Canadian PR (cowardly not in English or French) … especially via social media.

How bout the international students who are already studying in Canada since 2023? Are they affected by the updates? Or only the incoming students will be affected?

In our documents we applied out of country but my common law girlfriend came to stay for 5 months and wants to extend her stay if we submit an extension application will it hurt her PR application because we filed the application the out of country.

What would you say because I was a full-time student throughout my entire two years of studying however one semester I failed one course but the school allowed me to redo that course in the spring semester which allowed me to continue on with my education full-time for the rest of my education. Hey! Love your content. It is very helpful!! I have one question. I am a student in Canada, and I will be done with school on Jun 30. A completion letter will be issued 10 days after (approx.) According to the video, I can still work on those 10 days before the letter, right? But that is just the easy part. My wife has an open work permit, which expires 2025/03/11, one day before her passport expires. She can renew her passport six months before expiring. But the interesting aspect is that her work permit has the remark: "OPEN WORK PERMIT ONLY VALID WHILE SPOUSE IS A FULL-TIME ENROLLED STUDENT AT A DLI." Since I won't be enrolled, she must stop working. Right? That is why we want to apply together, even though the work permit might be granted for the same period of time due to the passport, but at least that remark, I guess, will no longer be valid. We want to apply together, PGWP and SOWP, on the same application. Do you think that is a good idea? I know a PGWP applicant can work after submitting an application, but what about the SOWP applicant? More specifically, applicant with the restrictions my wife has on her current work permit. Both of us are currently working on qualified jobs (Warehouse Team Lead - waiting to be done with school to get to Supervisor, meaning I can get a job offer letter---my wife's insurance broker). I am part-time, since I am a student. Previously full-time. She is a full time I am honestly considering booking your services, guys.

I have extended my work permit last year using the one time policy ircc sent out and my work permit extended for 18 months. My wife also received her pgwp last year but she is not working now. Can i do sowp extension request based on my wife’s pgwp ?
