YT fam, welcome to my first ever HOW-TO video. In my recent search for a NEW wheels, I ran into some questions as to how to run JDM wheels. After some research I was able to find a solution to my question. Here is the (cheaper ) and faster way of making the CHANGE from a euro wheel fitment to a broader market of wheel fitment.

I have the 2018 Mk.7.5 in the same color with RS wheels that look quite similar. I am 67 so I do not play games with people on the freeway but you go! Like your mods.

@@JUAN23GO yup mk8's can run e85 on stock fueling.
Well if you knew how it worked youd understand the R will always have the “extra” like the S3 motor. Hence they share same engine codes. So in essence it will naturally run better because of the finer details

Hey man I got a 2016 DSG gti, I want to install an intake, downpipe, fmic. With Cobb how do I tune it for just 91? Is there a map I could buy, also about how much power would that be
The tune has to come from either a local tuner via pro tuning or OTS from another tuner such as EQT, SNEEKY, & 5150 ETC
@@JUAN23GO ok. So I just ordered a downpipe and FMIC, as well as a Cobb. Once I install it, I can go on EQT and have them tune my car ?

Quick question about the ethanol gauge, mine just came in the and the gauge doesn’t for right inside the pod, the bracket on the back of it won’t fit but with the bracket off it fits but loosely
I think the bracket has a screw under it! Tighten it?

Yeah absolutely. The OEM module can’t support the WALBRO via harness and overall load on the module. I recommend biting the bullet and going BRUSHLESS

I have the same exact GTI. I’m on a CTS turbo back, mishimoto front mount, Integrated engineering C/A intake with a sneaky tuned stage 2 flash on the Cobb v3 accessport. Right now I should be about 350. But now I want to get the IS38 hybrid and do forged internals. Bro. If you get forged pistons and rods you’ll be able to push past 500bhp. It’s pricey. I know. But so worth it. But I’m also a mechanic. So I did all the work myself. If you have to pay for labor then it gets REALLY pricey. But nice car indeed.
Yes sir I have what this motor can do with the appropriate parts. At the moment I am truly happy with the setup I am running. By the way thanks for the watch.

HEY its cool to see so many vw golfs. man sorry to hear about the turbo, that sucks... i got lucky and traded in my 19 GTI for a MK8 May of 22. then Nov. of 23 a friend made me a deal i couldn't say no to. a 2017 R W/55K miles. I'm not a youtuber but my other friend is @entouragegarage we have about 10 episodes of each car and a couple of our local group. BTW Your video was good!!! i test drove both, went with the gti, it is honestly more fun to drive
@@charlie_mk7.5I’ve owned both, both MK7, FBO stage 2. GTI is more FUN, because it’s engaging and rowdy. Pushing it to the limits on the backroads would give me so much adrenaline. Don’t get me wrong though, My R would annihilate my old GTI in every single circumstance time wise.

The spoiler is holding up for being a REPLICA. Fitment is not great. I have the STRAFE diffuser

That type r was not stock.. lol.. I raced a fbo stock tune 2020 type r in my 2012 beetle turbo 2.0tsi e888 gen1 cbfa (basically mk6) with a cts ko4 turbo and I barely walked him.. I'm only about 320whp on 20lbs
