Ngl, I couldn't be more content with the Switch at the moment. I've got a decent backlog of titles still to play through, the NSO classic offerings have been great, and there's still some more noteable titles yet to release in the near future (really excited for Mario and Luigi Brothership and the new Pokemon Legends game). I don't really want to splash the cash on a new console yet either, so personally, I don't mind if it takes a bit longer for Nintendo's next console to release...

Um Nintendo alway releases some remakes and smaller games at the end of a console's lifespan because they are gearing up for the next console and so why release the big game for the aging platform when you can have it ready for day 1 of the next gen console

Xbox One/PS4 released 2013, then Xbox Series X/PS5 release 2020. A 7 year gap between consoles is literally the norm. Hell Xbox 360 was 2005, which means there was 8 years between that and the next console. Anyway, the worst thing they could do is rush a release of a console. The longer it takes, the better it'll be. Your just mad for the sake of being mad.

Nintendo still has loads of cash from the Gameboy days. They're not doomed. They're the only company not struggling, they're not in a rush to release switch 2 cause they don't need to be
