so it seems like i will be the only one interrupting this song's meaning which i dont mind, since i may have a different opinion from others: i believe the frame the lady is in signifies the fact people are watching her, and if she wants to get the attention, and acceptance in society, she has to put a specific persona, which why she says 'making a show of yourself in a wonderful way!' at 0:04. I really love how in the first chorus, you can tell that it's 'night' (by the octopus on her head acting like one of those cartoony bed-time hats), which is her 'safe time' to be herself, like dream. Her imagination is big, too big the world would mock it, which is why she stays in the frame. People would most likely mock her childish imagination (as even mentioned in the first verse it talks about a 'love story' that drops to a deep end). I would also love to mention the fact she said (0:59) 'you kicked me upstairs and then degraded me, human.' Meaning she was up to the attic, and ignored, because of how she was fooled by the person she met mentioned in the first verse. (or this may signify society discarding her ideas). second verse just speaks of how she ought cover every emotion that she can get attacked for, now she is more put on guard. THE SECOND CHORUS IS AMAZING! I lovvvvveeeee how her imagination is fading away now, she's forgetting her true self, she's lonely and lost her imagination. 2:28 is clearer than ever, and summarises most of her story 'will you be a slave like this for the rest of your life, tied up by the skin of your tail' there's no explanation even required for this sentence, she's obeying the worlds demand, being dragged by her tail, which is a very mocking way to describe it. 2:33 'Do you still have fangs to snap at my throat', her speech won't go through, everything she does is still wrong, people keep biting, nothing is perfect. 2:38 the human she speaks of is herself whom is inexperienced, her imaginative self, which is dead, that's why she said 'with little time left'. to summarise it all: nothing will be perfect for the people, every time they look at the frame, something must be wrong. she kept putting on more persona's without realising she's loosing herself, and at the end, people weren't even satisfied, she lost herself, so she will consider herself dead.

the use of the strobe series leitmotif/lyrics at the end of the song always makes me tear up. his music genuinely was my light during one of the worst weeks of my life and the strobe series (specifically strobe light) genuinely made me re-evaluate and prevented me from ending myself during that week. I think about him a lot. I wonder what he would think if he knew his music would end up being the comfort someone needed to keep living. I don't know what happens after death and I never knew the guy so fuck if I know what he would think, but I hope where ever he is, wether that be unconscious forever or reincarnated somewhere else, he knows he mattered, his art mattered and he as a person wasn't a failure. After death his music continues to live on with Young Girl A being the third vocaloid song to ever reach 100 million views on youtube which is so fucking insane and the fact he isn't even alive to see it happen breaks my heart. Not even just that song though just in general his music keeps his legacy alive and idk man at this point I'm just rambling cause despite never knowing him, I miss him everyday.
