What is The Golden Ratio? Why is it Everywhere?

Have you ever wondered why certain designs just feel... right? The answer lies in the Golden Ratio, a mathematical principle that has captivated architects, artists, and designers for centuries. From the spirals of seashells and sunflowers to the masterpieces of Le Corbusier and Salvador Dali, the Golden Ratio creates a sense of balance and beauty that is both natural and harmonious. Robust: Design to work with both current and future assistive technologies. i don't understand this point

    • @ValueatVoid
      @ValueatVoid 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your question about the 'Robust' principle. Essentially, this means designing telemedicine platforms to be compatible with both current and future assistive technologies. By using standard web technologies and best coding practices, we ensure the platform can work with devices and software that people with disabilities use today and adapt to new technologies as they emerge. The goal is to make healthcare accessible to everyone, now and in the future. I hope this clarifies your query!

    • @ValueatVoid
      @ValueatVoid 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indeed, screen resolutions and pixel densities do impact fixed pixel sizes. For a more adaptable approach, try using relative units like 'em' or 'rem' for CTA sizes, ensuring better consistency across different devices.

"The Gutenberg diagram divides a display medium into four quadrants: the primary optical area at the top left, the terminal area at the bottom right, the strong fallow area at the top right, and the weak fallow area at the bottom left. • @ValueatVoid
      @ValueatVoid ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your feedback. I understand your point. The intention behind the video was to introduce the concept of progressive disclosure and cite Duolingo as an example. However, I recognize that a more visual demonstration or a step-by-step walkthrough might help viewers grasp the practical application in a UX setting better. I appreciate your input and will consider creating a more in-depth video showcasing actual UI/UX design elements of progressive disclosure in the future. Stay tuned!
