When I listen to this song, tears always fall. But they come from a soft and warm place, full of love and memories. I think of my mother Sachiko, born in Nagasaki. She was a young girl, not yet 18 when the bombs fell. 🇯🇵 In an instant her entire life changed, she lost everything. 😢 But she found love and peace once again, in the USA. 🇺🇸 I lost her 22 years ago. RIP my beautiful, wonderful Mother. 🌈 🕊 💫 I love and miss you daily. ❤ And I will see you again. 🙏
Oh my, they are still performing! I loved them so much years ago. I would hear them frequently on a smooth jazz radio station that, sadly, no longer exists. I hope they come to my part of the world one day soon. I would make the trip to see them.
How synchronicity!! This video taken on Sep 24 and posted on Sep 25. It was the date that She separated from me. She was born in Hiroshima. I can't stop thinking about her. I loved this song so much.
I am so sorry about your Sheltie. They really are a part of the family. Porsche was our second Sheltie. And although she was very vocal (I like the way you phrased that ), it was because she had a great big personality and outgoing sense of humor.
It is as if it's filmed at our house! :) Every morning, every time when we were leaving it was the same scene as if she was saying: "Where are you going and why? Why don't you stay with me, your favorite dog?!" :)
My sheltie sounds like that, thankfully not when I leave, but she barks like that guests are over. Nonstop barking that echoes in the house, just like yours. Does your sheltie have issues when guests come over?
Yes she does. She doesn't like it when they come in the door and she doesn't like it when they leave LOL. She also barks when we use aluminum foil and open cans. But you've gotta love them because I never feel like I had to turn on the house alarm so the barking oddly makes me feel safe. Good luck with your Sheltie. They are really wonderfully smart dogs.
He is a very cute sheltie! I'm thinking she was trying to tell her favorite pal that what he's wearing wasn't cool. Asking him to change clothes :) hi !
I have #6&7 @ home; #6 Grape Nehi is the only one I've had that bumps my leg trying to turn me as I'm headed for the gate; they were all very vocal about me leaving and my return; they are never alone except when someone is visiting the Doc & occasionally I will take both for the visit and a neighbor called when they were both gone wondering if something was wrong since there was no one out there to talk to them.
I have a corgi that will legitimately grab my pant leg and tug so hard I almost fall, every morning that I leave. After she sees the car back out of the garage, boom it instantly stops. We can't even say goodbye to each other anymore because she knows what the word 'goodbye' means. Herding dogs, man.
I thought my sheltie, Rhett was the only crazy sheltie. He has bad separation anxiety, if he sees me put shoes on he starts barking and even when I walk out the door he will bite my ankles. But over all he's sweet. Your sheltie is very pretty !
+Consuella G I gotta spell w.a.l.k. too. My sheltie Toby gets hysterical every time I say the word....he will even go and grab his leash and bring it to me. LOL.
Don't you just love Shelties! They're so smart. Notice how Porsche anticipates her buddy leaving to go out. She knew what was going to happen before it actually happened. Do you still have your Sheltie?
@hibiscusfreak Agreed - Sheltie doing what shelties were bred to do - keep one of their flock from leaving the herd. Very noisily. At great length. To pet her and calm her down at that point would only be telling her "good job, you're doing you're job the way you're supposed to."
@buttfukbarbie Nope not the case AT ALL. This was a snap shot of what she does when she is left unattended to and not at all the way she is handled on a daily basis. Have you ever owned a Sheltie? If so, maybe you could give helpful advice on how to deal with separation anxiety!
maybe if you paid her a little attention before leaving or at the least ACKNOWLEDGE she's alive, maybe she wouldn't be flipping out, crying for your attention knowing it's gonna be hours till she sees you again. Thats kinda ignorant imo.
they are a lot of fun these shelties, we have 3 of them that do that same very thing. it's not crazy for them, that is typical, it's their way of herding things. they were bred to do this. going in circles with the alpha dog is part of the pattern. the two legged brother looked like he was annoyed a little.
Forever song. Drummer with correct Tempo. Thanks

Thank you Pamela. We had her sent from a breeder in Ohio. We picked her up at the airport in a tiny little crate <3
I've never seen such anxiety! Please get hims some help; he's suffering!
Porsche was just doing her job keeping her people rounded up. She's a herding dog.
Oh, my God! One loud ass bark after another.
Yes. This was every day!
Fantastic. He dug salted peanuts out the can.
Shelties will loves you until the end of their lives
Couldn't lives without sheltie . I have shelties all my life....
Hotel California
We just lost our Sheltie. She was also very vocal, but very loyal. It was a tough loss when she passed away. They are the best family dog ever.

Thank you for sharing such a sweet video😄
Lost my monìca last week

Yup. They are trying to keep their flock together. NO ONE gets to leave, EVER LOL
I was waiting for you to beat the dog with that shoe
Good Dog!!

I have two sheltie
They are the most beautiful dogs. Are yours barkers too?
Consuella G yes. Yes they are.
He is a very cute sheltie! I'm thinking she was trying to tell her favorite pal that what he's wearing wasn't cool. Asking him to change clothes :) hi !
She's a very protective dog and objected to anyone leaving the house ever!! You've gotta love Shelties.
Sheltie goes crazy. No shit?!
A very.. vocal breed....
I have #6&7 @ home; #6 Grape Nehi is the only one I've had that bumps my leg trying to turn me as I'm headed for the gate; they were all very vocal about me leaving and my return; they are never alone except when someone is visiting the Doc & occasionally I will take both for the visit and a neighbor called when they were both gone wondering if something was wrong since there was no one out there to talk to them.

starzcharmed I feel for you lol. My dog still behaves this way to this day. But they are smart, cute dogs, aren't they?
LOL, classic. She's trying to keep her flock together. I miss my sheltie boy.
I thought my sheltie, Rhett was the only crazy sheltie. He has bad separation anxiety, if he sees me put shoes on he starts barking and even when I walk out the door he will bite my ankles. But over all he's sweet. Your sheltie is very pretty !
So does our dog, Bella. And she's a Sheltie, too.
Does she get enough exercise?
Yes. She actually enjoys her walks. She's so smart that we've started spelling the word w.a.l.k. because hearing the word gets her very excited.
I wonder if she thinks she's got to herd him back into his room. Is he her favourite family member?
Absolutely. But every family member seems to be her favorite.
+Consuella G I gotta spell w.a.l.k. too. My sheltie Toby gets hysterical every time I say the word....he will even go and grab his leash and bring it to me. LOL.

@sonatatempest Wow, your grammar sucks big time.
dog is retarded..
@armorall1000 No, you're right. My dog IS psycho! Thank you for your post. Aren't Shelties just so entertaining!
@hibiscusfreak Agreed - Sheltie doing what shelties were bred to do - keep one of their flock from leaving the herd. Very noisily. At great length. To pet her and calm her down at that point would only be telling her "good job, you're doing you're job the way you're supposed to."

my sheltie did the same thing.
It's like she's saying "Please don't go! Please don't go! I'll be mad if you do! Come back!"
they are a lot of fun these shelties, we have 3 of them that do that same very thing. it's not crazy for them, that is typical, it's their way of herding things. they were bred to do this. going in circles with the alpha dog is part of the pattern. the two legged brother looked like he was annoyed a little.
My dog's name is Porsche!!
ok WTF???? the dog is cute and everything, but why are you trying to get more hits by naming it porsche? :/
Her name was Porsche!!!
Yeah crazy huh!! My last sheltie was actually named Mercedes.
dog named porsche and a mercedes in the garage, lol
Wow, do you mean there are two of them?
