When there is sufficient flow of air and the bike is cruising continuously then you'll not feel any of the heat. But unfortunately in cities when you drive even for 2-5 kms the bike will heat as the fans are designed so that they are not throwing the heat away from the legs instead they throw it towards the legs and it's a design issue. Even while standing still on red lights in day will feel like a hot pan. So, as per my knowledge the heat issue is not going to be solved after first service also.

After the second service also I'm facing the same brake squeaking sound. The service centre provider told me that it is a heavy machine so it will make that noise and asked me not to worry about. But I knew that it is just an another excuse from the RE service providers and nothing new.

Thanks brother. There are two modes in himalayan. I rode my bike on performance mode that too for 300kms and it gave me a mileage of 35kmpl (including the highway run, hilly roads, ascends and curves). In city I could remember that in heavy traffic on performance mode it gave me a mileage of 18-22kmpl. I've never tried Eco mode on this bike as performance mode is so addictive lol 💫.

I got the mileage of 35 kmpl overall while riding on Performance mode. Company did not claimed it to be 40 kmpl, I might have said it inadvertently. In other videos also the himalayan reached 40 kmpl. I never rode it on Eco mode.
