Diving a houseboat on Table Rock lake 5/7/2016
I was free diving in Table Rockj Lake in 1969 down to about 15 feet and the water was so clear I could see forever. And I did not need goggles, just my open eyes and the water was so clean I never felt it on my eyes. The water here is green, not clear.
You want to hide something... Cover it with water.
i live by table rock lake i live in shell knob boy i love it here
This is strate from a scary movie.🤣😰😰
Somewhere on the west edge of the Joe Bald penninsula is a sunken ancient CrissCraft that litterly struck a slightly submerged tabke rock in the early daze of the lake.
I wanted to see houses and buildings
Scary
Is this SC
The trees were left as fish habitat in both Bull Shoals and Table Rock Lake. There have been several diving deaths on Bull Shoals that were believed to have been related to divers getting tangled up. Plus, Bull Shoals, Table Rock and Norfork Lakes are all deep. The basin of Norfork was clear cut, bldgs torn down and fences removed. I remember all 3 dams being built, but am more familiar with Norfork.
I got nibbled on years ago while treading water for hours competing with my sister 30 feet from shore at TR lake.
1 bass at the 5:30 mark ?
It’s a frickin underwater forest
Wow, just a pretty area. I have driven over the dam many times, interesting to see from a different vantage point
I love the lake but don’t care for swimming in it
Craigslisters be like "boat in good condition $5k."
Thanks for the peak into the abyss under Bennett Springs... Stay safe!
Ive dove TRL since the 1970s. Down there Aruba & coral reefs it ain't.
CrisCraft that struck a table rock n went down (1962) was found off the Joe Bald Penninsul. Every fitting & dial was stripped by who knows who.
Perch? While scuba diving off the Joe Bald Pennisula TRL I was feeding fish clam pieces to the local fish. This was waaay back in the 1970s. Some fish bit my nipple right thru my lycra leotard.
The wreck of The HOLIDAY BELLE. - where is it? I heard tell of a wreck of a CrisCraft that actually STRUCK a just below the surface...TABLE ROCK and went down in 1962. Since it's been looted of most all fixtures as they are valuable.
I've skin dived TRL since the 1960s. TRL the Great Barrier Reef it ain't. Rocks, mud, grey dead trees, colorless fish....bottles.
In & throughout the 1960s the shore was covered in tons of brush.
that's creepy to think i swam in that
Great visibility
I didn't realize there were so many standing trees under that lake. Whats amazing is that those trees will petrify and never decompose.
Have you seen the picture of the Kimberling bridges? The valley was full of trees. I figured it'd either be denser or less dense though.
Looks like a dead lake
Also do you have a place their or do you stay in a rv
I live about 20 minutes away.
Can you go u see docks? I dropped my moms sunglasses between the boat and dock across the 2 docks at wild wood rd
That’s a bluegill
Not a piranha
Roy Campbell and a bunch of us from Port of Kimberling Scuba
We sank most of those boats in the 80s
Have you been to the Zebulon Pike ???
When I left in 93 , I was working on tieing a cable from the south pillar of Kimberling city Bridge to the old Bridge for experienced divers to explore
Worked for Jim's Marine,,, been long time ago
I used to dive that lake in the 80s. Port of Kimberling Scuba
Are you still diving Frank?
Yes, I am. I just haven't taken videos in a while.
@@frankthompson7974 That’s good to hear. I was at Stockton Lake today and had about a foot of visibility at 60 feet. 😆
If a tree "falls" does it fall to the ground like on land?
*_Looked like Silent Hill underwater version._*
Is this a reservoir? Lots of trees.
Just a man made lake. Trees were there before they built the dam.
Oh I saw one!!
No fish in sight!??
Looks like an underwater Radiation storm wasteland.
Very cool video.
Do you have anymore of Table Rock Lake
What part of the lake would this be?
More chance of shooting a bear down there than catching a fish..huh
I'm starting to think that they're not a lot of fish in Tablerock. It's a magic name...I've seen some diving vids taken in Beaver the fish were just stacked up!
Despite the dam hatchery? It is fished...A LOT.
Sounds like a horror flick
Those are not parrina fish
