Hey man, I’m learning the OOB skips for speeds and looking for someone to explain some of the checkpoints to make pulls successful. Could you explain the bog pull a little more? I saw in a comment above you said something about preloading a door and having your team all go there, I didn’t quite understand that. When do they all go there? Before the payload sled disappears into the cave? Do they follow you in after the door opens for them? Do they have to hit a certain spot before you start it? Thanks

Default binds for well skate so L1 r1 to cast super heavy attack is r2 and jump is x only bind that is different is I pull my heavy weapon out with circle instead of triangle

If you do it enough it becomes a really easy timing (on pc at least) If you wanna practice run a private crucible lobby with fast super regen.

I knew there were a few holes in that raid to oob but I didn't know there were that many useful ones. Makes me wish bungie had left DSC the way it was towards the end of season 12. I understood patching the ones in the basement of security since it literally broke that encounter but patching the sparrow stuff and being able to get to the second secret chest was dumb.

Is it really a WR if you’re going oob though? It almost seems like you could’ve done it just as fast if you had everyone doing damage on the bosses.
For caretaker it slight seconds but we then loose time if I’m not doing the skips but when we get the new record I’m not even in the encounter you would loose 5 mins being there for 4 seconds of damage so net timed loss is much higher

With console it's easier to do platforming because you fall slower due to fps 👍

Do you run default contoller mapping? If not, how do you have your mapping set up? Always been curious about the controller speedrunners (primarily because of well skating)
I have custom settings well is normal though
well skating is the one advanced movement technique that is super easy to do on controller
