Homemade Hummus made from scratch........easy, tasty & budget friendly. You can server it as a side dish with main course, as a dip, as a snack with pita bread or as spread on sandwiches. Boil and peel 1cup chickpeas, add them in a blender. Add 4-5 garlic cloves, 3tbsp lemon juice, 3tbsp homemade tahini, salt, 1/2tsp roasted and crushed cumin and 2 ice cubes and blend. Add 2-3 tbsp olive oil amd blend again till creamy. If you want to reduce the consistency, you can add reserved chickpeas water or plain water. Plate it out and garnish with paprika powder, olive oil, black olives and cilantro. Serve and enjoy. To make Homemade Tahini Roast 3tbsp sesame seeds, grind them into a fine powder, add 2tbsp olive oil, pinch of salt and 1/2tsp lemon juice and grind again to make a smooth paste. (You can double or triple this recipe to make smooth creamy consistency in blender)
