California in 1940s. Filming a movie scene on Oakland Bay Bridge (San Francisco)'2CH Dashcam'
มุมมอง 2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The original videos were filmed for a movie scene. Based on the sun positioning the rear and front videos were shot with time gap of at least half an hour, if on the same day. The same set of cars with the same 'moving' sequence was used in the both scene shootings. The videos were synchronized by simple slowing down or speeding up a bit certain sections.

That whole area in the opening scene with the Cliff House and the great highway (in the 50's down below would have been Whitney's Playland at the Beach 1911-1972) and Sutro's bath and Louie's at the beach. That entire area has never been the same, with the fire that destroyed Sutro's in 1966 and the demolition of Playland in 1972, and Louie's and the Cliff House closing. Ocean Beach area now is just desolate. In the 40's thru the late 50's ocean beach area was great!!!!!!! 👍🌉

Those people who lived in the 50s were the luckiest people. Great cars, clean streets and great clothes. Oh, please let us return to those days. Today it's crazy, i remember when men were men and women were women. Suits, dresses and civilised behaviour. What the hell is going on today?

I remember shopping at the Sears circa 1989 and buying an Icee in he the basemet level. That same area now? You might as well be living in some Central American dystopian dump. I left L.A. in 2015-- Couldn't take the illegal alien hordes, the trash/graffit/gangbangers, crowding, gridlock, high taxes, homeless bums/crayzoids/fruits-nuts-flakes-freaks... all brought to you by DEMOCRATS and their communist policies.
