You mention something about how the other YTers videos come out great when they're doing stuff. Some people I've seen are wearing multiple body cameras and some take the time to set up a camera on a tripod to act as "cameraman/woman" recording a scene they are in. That is A LOT of work but looks good. I'm always clumsily trying to use one free hand and hold my heavy camera. I need to spend more time on looking for a way to free up both hands, wear my camera somehow, etc., but I don't want a small sport camera setup. Trying to just use what I already have.

If you mix the venison burger with hamburger equal amount, it will hold the meat together unless you don't mind the venison dry and full flavor. Adding hamburger will not make it dry. Heads Upa

Yeah, I think it should have had a higher fat ratio blended with it. I've only ever had venison summer sausage. I like that.

It's funny how a lot of the offal parts of meats have become so expensive now that they are considered gourmet. My Dad grew up poor and always said the cheaper cuts were all they had.

Did you have to peel the membrane off the tongue? I made it once, and I thought it had to be peeled. Maybe the butcher did that already for the one you cooked.

I like...GOOD...hunter sausage made with venison, but every other way to cook it is 2nd place to good beef (eye of round not included). The best way I like venison, marinated and cooked on skewers (using McCormick's Meat Marinade (I think no longer available, 😞) ).

I was born and raised in Michigan! I love Olive Burgers, I haven't made one in a while.

My grandson got a couple deer this year (and usually does each year). I have several freezers so after processing it all the meat stays at my house since all my grandkids are in college. When they come to see me on weekends, I also make deer burgers or meatloaf or tacos…etc. If you add an egg or two (depending on how many you are making) and a small amount of panco (or crushed Ritz crackers) if it’s too wet, it helps to keep it from crumbling when you fry it. I sometimes add just a little bit of sausage to the ground venison because the fat content is super low and that is why it crumbles. As an old man who lives alone, venison really helps from having to spend more money on groceries. Times get tough sometimes.
