Degenerate Fabricators
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 2 พ.ย. 2011
Degenerate Fabricators was started as a way to showcase the random things I have built. We’ve grown since then into a company I’m proud of. The projects we build are mostly just fun toys to take out and beat on before we sell them or cut them up to build something else later.

Chevy S10 frame.....🤔🤔🤔🤔?
Sure is!
Looks ready to go in my eyes
I wanted to say it’s not cool but…it’s cool as hell
Hi, very nice build you did I would like to ask what sprockets did you use what size is the chain and tooth count how did you make the one after the motor one please help I am building one some day soon but can not find the sprockets I need or want thanks for you help and great build.
I used factory 110 sprockets and chain. The one motor to shaft are the same so 1-1 and the shaft to wheel is like 2 teeth bigger. Ask @bigfootbikesandbrews I followed his builds and asked him a lot of questions along the way!
@@DegenerateFabricators ok, thanks could you show how you did the two by the motor how did you hold it on to the shaft being it is bigger than the bore of the stock sprocket did you turn the shaft down and weld it on? and it looks like you welded the out side one on.
@@DegenerateFabricators Hi, also what is the seat from and you used a 1-1/4 shaft right and how did you do the rear sprocket hub? thanks for you help very nice looking bike.
@@stevenpleasant5834 I don’t have the bike anymore sold it a few weeks back, I drilled out the sprocket to slip in shaft and welded it, both sprockets being on the left side ment I could pull the whole shaft out of the bearings and replace it all if needed

How long of a tube did you end up using just for the main hoop? I'm getting ready to do the same for my 59 deluxe...my bender is assembled and ready...air over hydraulic....
I do not remember but I believe I started with a 10’ stick. However it’s been a long time
Ok now I want one even more lol 😂
I want that racing car Niga
Awesome! I've been rebuilding a CL175, should be done tomorrow I just need to put the motor back in
Very awesome! I’ve got another xr100 basket case on the bench that I’m waiting on parts for! Thanks for watching!
Interesting
It would’ve been great too however, it got parted out for another rail
Good work man! Ive been wanting to do this for a while.
Really appreciate it!
Super cool, Thanks for the shout out! It's cool to see the different ideas you had compared to mine. I especially like the swing arm orientation and the drive sprocket on the right side. Things are a little cramped on the left side on mine 😁 Great job!
That thing is dope af
Very much
Moterbike Mike here, Dude that thing is bad ass. I bet it's going to be an awesome trail bike with the hi-lo trans... in it especially on hills.
My thoughts exactly I’m thinking about the same ability as a Rocon
Now that’s a good time in the snow
Are you still building the 4x4 model AA? I wanna see an end to that, I’m wanting to build one myself
No unfortunately someone else bought it before we moved, I’d like to find another and try again but it’s just not within reach at this time
@@DegenerateFabricators well I’ll be waiting to see in case you get the opportunity again, idk how to go about it at all, I was a mechanic before I decided to start a TH-cam channel for video games, I have two TH-cam channels, one for car stuff and one for games, but haven’t had much to do lately. My dream build is to take a 1931 model a 4 door sedan body, and take a model aa truck bed and mount them together on a more modern chassis maybe something like a ford ranger extended cab chassis or something and is 4x4 and still has the motor and everything including steering and stuff and go from there. So it somewhat like this long 4x4 monster of truck and then reinforce the model a body with heavy steel and make inner frames and maybe even a roll cage inside, and have a winch on the front, tow hooks and such and build a custom a/c and heater system and make it into like a daily driving monster.
I remember riding ours across a pond👍🏾👍🏾
"Can someone hit the exhaust fan please?"
That’d be greeeeaaaat
It's got a built in mosquito fogger
Lmao you’re not wrong there!
A bit saddened you cut the original frame apart and changed he rearend
Dude that sounds awesome! Just subscribed, can’t wait to see the journey
Should be sweet! Thanks for the sub I’ll do my best to post as I go!
Where do yall get the tubular steel for this
Google steel supply. There are steel and welding supply places everywhere
........
Hell ya💪
He can’t afford the shocks at the moment. Wouldn’t that be a scary thing to hear as the guy building it for him?
Badass
Cool
Fuck yeah, looks tits
Never would think of that. Gotta try it on my 75 F250 4x4 Dually. I have a spare bed.
I like it
I am installing a 170,0 cm wide Tesla rear drive unit in place of a 151,4 cm wide 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II rear axle. So I have to shorten the drive axles 9,3 cm. Maybe a bit less to make the wheels fill the opening a bit better. Your method looks very good. But the Tesla has 400 kW power. I'll get a professional welder to do this.
It’ll hold
oh god dc shoes with checkered shoe laces what are you 9 years old lol
Any updates?
Hope you kept that rare double A Ford original. Not many around.
Hey! How much weight this frame can handle? And with this frame can I put 2 of 5200 axles?
A lot and yes that frame was very very heavy duty
Looking good some day I'll get you to build me a tow truck bumper for our truck lol
Like a plate front?
@@DegenerateFabricators yeah lined with rubber so I can push all these California drivers out of my way in the snow 😂😂
@@DegenerateFabricators and maybe a gin pole set up?
Bring me some metal to finish my trailer and I’ll build what ever you need
@@DegenerateFabricators ok send me a list and I'll start hunting it down
Sould of dug deeper in the burger king cup nuts and washers were in the bottom 😂 looks great though
I did find them actually
You drive awfully fast down those residential streets.
Yea speed limit in the alley is 30 and video looks faster than it really is
I'm building a 1929 Ford Model A pickup 4x4. Using a piece together can, bed and fenders etc on a Stretched CJ7 chassis . Using the jeep axles, t176 trans , Dana 300 tcase and a SBF . Just finished the body and stretched the chassis. Doing custom body mounts now. Should be pretty cool
nice. What size tubing are you using?
1.5x.125 DOM
Sweet getting closer 🤙
Thanks I’m actually about to upload pt 4!!
@@DegenerateFabricators cool, I always think about building a baja instead of running the buggy
Oh yea man I loved my buggies but man the open frames were COLD out here in Colorado!
@@DegenerateFabricators yeah same here in michigan, I just wanna be closed in a little more, and a little less mud
Lol gross! I lived in Minnesota and I thought that was bad lol
Very cool 👍
Love how it’s all coming together

Hello: I have been enjoying watching your build process. I am currently build two buggies, one with a 40 horsepower snowmobile engine and the other with a 95 horsepower snowmobile engine. I am struggling with getting the correct axle situation with my 40 horsepower buggy. Let me ask you, how has the welded CV axle held up? Can it take some serious power? I agonized over splicing my axles but many comments I have read state that welded CV axles only hold up in lower power applications. I am using RZR transmissions in both my buggies so that won't be a problem. My 95 horsepower buggy will be using all stock RZR suspension parts so there won't be a durability issue with that buggy. I'm debating on custom splining a CV axle so I can have an inboard RZR CV joint and an Arctic Cat ATV outer CV joint to go with my ATV suspension on the 40 horsepower buggy. Welding the halfshafts would be easier, but I am concerned that the first time I try to pull a wheely or floor the accelerator, my welded axle may snap. Your thoughts? Thank you.
When they say high hp they are talking 300+ the low torque num thx you’ll be dealing with I’d be confident with it.
I love the trailer builds Travis.
Thanks for the Information... I just took my Solid Half Shafts to the Pro Guy... To be Shortened... He Resptfully declined to take on the Job. So it On Me
Most shops won’t however this is likely the best bet, no guarantee it’ll hit a ton of torque but it works good on other things.
