Our tide is quite dramatic because we have a shallow beach and the distance the tide goes out makes for wonderful beaches. The dolphin love to come in and fish the shallow sections.

This is the area where people cross the Palena River on a ferry and then immediately you are on the Fundo Los Leones Property. It is this area where we project putting a fishing lodge that can easily access the Palena River up and down and the Garroa River. It is a section that has hot springs and incredible rainforest sections. On the east side is the Abbe Canal which is fun to kayak up and down.

This is part of my video series of Personal History stories. This one focuses on what it was like to live as a boy in the early 60's and in to the 70's. I mention things that come to mind that I experienced as a boy in the family that I lived in and how it might be a bit different than today.
