Touching on what you said regarding “thick skin” I absolutely believe it’s crucial to have on TH-cam or any social media platform. Regardless of the negativity, it’s good to see you’re sticking with this channel. I’ve been watching your vids pop up and I enjoy them!
What cymbals are you using
Go get him kid🤘
Good 👍 stuff Try not to force the power
Chaos. CHAOS
R u special needs ?
This is a fun concept
Love you bro! Keep up the good work, and have an awesome week
Thanks man!
Is that a double bass in the background i see? Also the ai generated response to the earplugs comment was scary, im with you on that
You are seeing that correctly! And yes, too accurate for AI.
Get some headfonez so u can hear everything clear & make it easier to lock with the song_ thatz what im having to do & it helps a bunch (oh well, if the people cant hear it) at least it will let u jam mor freer
Appreciate it - there’s got to be a way to still overdub the music with the videos but might be more work than I want to do. I’m hoping to start doing some longer sessions, maybe a little bit of filming without headphones and then more practice with them.
Trust_ i wana do exactly what ur doing, but i cant go live yet kuz i dnt hav enough subscribers
ChristineMartin4229 is correct. What I did was went online found someone that taught me from the beginning we actually started out on how to hold the sticks and went from there anyway I am no means Tommy Lee but keep banging those skins you'll get there just like the rest of us🤘
Thanks, I love getting genuine thoughts and advice from people who play.
Gotta learn to loosen up my friend. It'll help you with stamina, tone and you'll eventually get faster too. Watch some videos about stick grip technique. Drumeo has a really good one and mentions lots of different styles. My recommendation (ive played for 25 years) is to adapt a technique that works for your body. Also practice pad work might be boring but once you put in some time on one, youll impresse yourself when you next get on the kit. Keep up the good work and youll be shredding in no time
Thanks! I really appreciate your thoughtful comment and advice.
i would suggest because i have watched your other videos to not use your hi hat pedal like it would be a bass drum pedal. control your foot on the hi hat pedal for when you need do use it in a song!
Thanks, I agree that I need to work on intentional hi-hat control instead of random opening and closing.
I thought you were Mario Duplantier

Good work man as a drummer myself all I can say is make sure you’re always having fun and practice your rudiments! Also grab your stick a little higher up, you want an inch or two of the stick coming out the bottom of your hand 👍🏼
Appreciate that practical advice - I’ll try that.
Your arm looks very stiff and overly stressed. Try to relax and use your wrist more instead of your whole arm. Solid though man!
Thanks, I appreciate encouragement mixed with advice.
You trying bro
You seem like a true lover of music, and i like your positive attitude. I'll be subscribing to watch and encourage your progress. Keep it up!
Thanks!! That’s so nice to hear.
Respect ✊🏻
Yo, I love the enthusiasm behind this I think more people should be playing the drums My piece of advice is to work on your strokes & finger + wrist technique as it will boost your speed and the power behind your hits Keep up the awesome work man
Thanks, I love the compliment sandwich and constructive advice! Looking forward to getting better with gaining some finger and wrist technique.
Also you're making the same mistake I did. Don't even bother trying to do fast fills until you work on your technique. And when you learn a new song, learn it slow first! You should always be able to play a song slower than the actual bpm.
Kind of spazing on the fill. Start slow and stay in time and speed them up. Good work
Haha, you’re not wrong! Thanks.
Lower your ride symbol and flatten it out so it doesn't interfere. Pull your snare back a bit to create more space.
Thanks for the tips
Use a headset
1234. 1234 you got this
Bro I respect the grind so much! I started drumming 4 years ago, and I love it so much.
awesome man! Thank you!
I know this isn’t really a suggestion but I’m curious. Have you heart of the “5k exercise”? If you have I just want to know if it’s hard for you or not (I had trouble with it a little bit.) if you haven’t heard of it you can find it by looking up “elestepariosiberiano 5k exercise”, there’s a TH-cam shirt about it
I’m not sure if you are or not but I’d highly recommend wearing ear protection when you’re drumming. The sound can cause some really serious damage to your ears.
Thanks! I do use foam inserts that really reduce the dBs
You are getting better
Thanks man!
Keep it bro I love ur consistency
Wow bro you are really improving
Thank you!! I appreciate you staying with the journey - seeing comments from the same people over time is one of the best parts of doing this TH-cam thing.
Respect Круто
Thanks!
Hell yeah
Thanks!
Budget version.
Haha 😆
as someone who learned this way... i'd also get a pad and a metronome and just do stick work while you watch movies etc... that is where the heavy work happens. Playing rock is easy,... drums are physical, you need muscle control. The rest is the fun. Rock on.
Thanks for the tips!
Lache rien 💪
Merci!
I think what might help you is to watch some videos on grips and finger techniques and learn and practice some rudiments. Normally there are videos that have the 5 rudiments you should learn/use the most. Also, your snare and floor tom are too high. When you are hitting the snare with your left hand, you hit the rim and miss the head. If you lower it, that won’t happen. I’m not an expert, but those are the first things I noticed. Good luck and just keep at it.
Thanks, I appreciate the tips!
One thing that helps me when I’m learning from sheet music is being able to hear each bar in my head and what it sounds like. If you intentionally think and hear what you are going to play it goes a long way! Keep it up!
Awesome! Thanks for chiming in with a new comment, it’s nice to hear from you again!
Keep it up bro... Keep going
Thanks!
Fix your grip and invest in some book that teaches you the basics, because what you are doing is fundamentally wrong...
Not bad man. Definitely hear it coming along on parts of the songs. I suggest adding a few minutes of just playing a basic 4/4 while focusing on keeping groove and tempo. Simple and sweet and then scale up :). Groove and tempo is #1.
Thanks! I’m doing that now while learning Not The Only One with sheet music.
Nice!
Thanks!
Sounds gravy! don't listen to the haters! Im a sometimes drummer for a polka band and deff practice by playing along with songs as well. You should try to get more musicians into your jam! The growth will be exponential when you share the passion.
Absolutely, thanks man, I’d love to jam with othes too
Sounds good man
Thank you
@@drummereveryday it’s no problem 🤙
This is how i learned....jammin is the best way to learn....
that looks alot like Eric Singer
Sorry but not sorry, 184 days? You should look for something else unless you just do this for therapy. You have no natural talent in my honest opinion.
@@DrummerJohn chill out. He's enjoying music. You're ruining it for him. Why are so many musicians interested in dick measuring? Just live and let live.
Great timing and instincts. Keep it up.
Thanks man
