@@johnlow810 I hate this take because Yeat sounds nothing like Carti. Listen to the album 2093, my favourite track off that album being Shade because of how much it has going on in a good way. Yeat hasn't "blown up" because of a trend, he has had a cult fanbase for years and those fans aren't even Carti fans. This debate has been beaten senseless and it's the same with the "every Yeat track sounds the same" which isn't true neither but people peddle these false narratives to sound smart or elitist because they don't like the music. First time I heard Yeat in all fairness I thought he was horrible, in 2021 I listened to him more and the track I thought was horrible grew on me and I genuinely liked it, and now after the release of 2093 he has became one of my favourite artists.
