Is optifine required for this? I downloaded it and it didn't work (I use curse forge)
Pairing this shader with terralith and towns and towers makes great scenery. I also love the shader I think you’ve done the best job then any other shader out there in my opinion

I tried installing from cursed forge and adding into my own modpack but cant seem to get the shaders to work every time I boot its normal Minecraft. Im new to modding minecraft is there any extra unlisted steps for the installation or is another mod affecting it? (I have no graphical or shader mods active)

Why I can't add this texture pack to my Minecraft??
You need to be waay more descriptive than that if you want people to help. It can be a variety of reasons. Firstly, it's a shader, not a texture pack. Secondly, it's Java Edition. Third, you need to install a mod like Iris Shaders to make it work.

i just got this shader and its great, but i wish it was compatible with distant horizons
I really love the implementation of the voxel based rendering, its super fast and I can enjoy it on my 7 years old gpu really nicely with the same performance as complementary, the only thing I notice is the invisible raindrop, is it just me or is that deliberate? Thank you so much

it's not and it will never be, the best you can do is install Pojav launcher on your mobile device and try to run Solas on it

Super in love with this shader. I think my favorite parts are the water and the clouds 💕 The water is gorgeous and has very minimal SSR artifacts compared to other shaders I've used. And the clouds are so fluffy and pretty ❤❤❤

I can't get it applied on my world.
Genuinely my favorite rasterized shaderpack. One thing I particularly enjoy is the screen space reflections. Very little artifacting and dissoclusion issues at the edge of the screen on large bodies of water, which i very much appreciate ❤ A lot of other shaders i can see a very large gap where the SSR doesnt get applied
