Lord have mercy on my bets😂😂
All the omens were there when I backed a horse once Race 5 Number 5 Jockey 55 kg 5/5/ Barrier 5 …….horse ran 5th
Wasn't a priest inevitably involved in the Fine Cotton scandal?
Loves god deserve to lose believing in god 😂
The Holy Bookmaker.
The good old days at the races,,.
It’s politics say no more get in make as much by any means or foul and get out they all parties are at it 🎉
Thank you from Manhattan ©2024
The good old day's of betting, now on line betting has changed how we bet.You will find now that when you go into a bookies, there usually empty except for the odd punter player the machines. In time horse racing will go the same way as speedway, down the plug hole.
No it won’t. It is the sport of kings and does not need punters to keep the sport going. There might be less races but it would never die.
@@Vile_Entity_3545 Are you joking, no punters no horse racing. No punters no levy means no prize money, means racing for rosette's, no punters means race courses would close.Oh wait a minute you played an April fool joke a day later. You got me there Bro, i thought you where being serious.
@@tommyhughes2264 Racing was happening well before the public as a whole could gamble. It started in the 1600’s so it will always be a thing whether the racecourses have 10 punters or thousands. The money will never stop online so tell me how are they going to race if hardly anybody goes racing anymore? I’ll tell you how. They will still race around the racecourses because they won’t be racing around the M25.
It's crazy, I was born in 1997 when this came out - But I grew up and had my first job as a bagman with one of the rails bookies, and I recognise a lot of these blokes. They're still around.
There's not many bookies take losing with a smile on their face
Good stuff, wish we had more like this video.
The one thing racing around world has in common is outsiders and unfancied horses ,win most of the races worst and craziest of all is , American racing all small fields but still more than there fair share of outsiders ,to feed the bookies because without them there isn't racing .and without trainers bent ways there wouldn't be bookies .
Not if you’d backed Bescon
Please add more videos like this please please please 🙏 💜
Good to see this side of the game Not as easy as it looks they all work a different way God won't help good luck is what you want
here from the wolfden lmao
Who's the silverfox with the horn-rims, and is he still punting?
GAMBLING,,, ALCOHOL,,, DRUGS,,, WARS,,,,,, DISTROYING WESTERN COUNTRIES,, ASK YOURSELVES WHO BENEFITS?????
Andy Kaufman 8.00 enjoying a day at the sports.
Might and power was the sort of horse who would die before letting another horse get past him
Great call. There's no way in my opinion that Winx has her way against him.
Every man on Earth was on Might and Power, probably even Doemius owners😂. Even Moses was on him
Just shows how long ago this was . The odds on the stands are all digital ( electronic ) these days 😃
he said it dont say in the bible not to bet thats becauseJESUS WAS BORN IN A STABLE
Nothing like the good old days, especially New Years Day at Wallabadah, up near Quirindi and Tamworth. Massive crowds in the old days. The internet changed the gambling game forever.
@@dennispicone6801As a young person, I’m always a bit upset I couldn’t have experienced those days. Especially dog tracks, just dead empty.
@@AdamSabir1 it's not just those. The gambling days of yesterday are forever finished. The culture forward now and has been digital for quite awhile.
Geez the Bookie's taking it up the arse ... having a bad trot
I wish I could punt where I am. I'm stuck with the pari-mutuals which means I don't know the final odds of the horse until right after the race starts. If a bookie could give me odds, and stick with them, then there would be a potential to make money playing the horses.
Really interesting look back at the days when racecourse bookies needed to have an opinion about horse was going to win
Can you expand on what that means?
@@terencenordberg7482 They don't need to have an opinion these days because they just follow Betfair and only let you on to win $2k max.
Good video and thank you for posting.
Terry Page said in the media in 1977, to the effect, ' put it this way, I haven't been winning '. Then in 1988 he comes back with, " I'll back South Sydney to make the semis, if anyone wants to take me on. ". And he'd have got done on that. I had a real mind to actually have some of that, but my personal finances were not going ideally enough, so I let it go. This is all public media stuff which I'm citing.
It's all. Madness forget it u need a peaceful life only u can change it start now the figures are against u forget cup
15 large on might and power 👌
John Kennedy took his losses like a man. Respect.
My Grandfather is John Kennedy Legend
@@rampagegaming1911 is he still a bookie?
Strikes me as a real decent bloke. This wasn't long before I more or less gave the punt away because my work started to take up too much time, which didn't leave me enough time to do the form sufficient enough to give me much of a chance. I figured that it was hard enough to win putting in the time and effort, so I'd only be donating money to the bookies if I continued on. The number of bookies had well and truly dwindled by that time, so there really wasn't much competition to offer attractive prices anymore, not in Newcastle anyway.
@@sambadolato3129 at 90? I dont think so mate
Love videos like this
Wins $ 3500 0n the first $1000 on the last losses on the rest but smiles and says he still won $3000, really.
Shocking decision the "winner " actually kept a straight line from the start
Thats the game
Where r these people now? I wish we could find out

@@rampagegaming1911 wow He passed away recently???

Sean is a very successful and rich punter who bets a lot of money on a number of different horses in each race he has a go at. His turnover is huge. He also sold his online bookmaking business to Sportsbet.
@@rampagegaming1911 is he still bookmaker
the internet killed the tracks. todays punters are online playing poker and betting on football
God said come forth but he got blocked for a run and came fifth..
We used to have a similar saying, Go fourth and multiply, but he came fifth and lost his beer money
Great stuff
All bankrupt and skint now
BARTHOLOMEU has since left being a bookmaker. He has become a multi millionnaire. God really helped him.
Best punter of all.

Haha, you only have to look in the carpark to see what they drive to know that the ones that survive do so in absolute comfort.
How did he make his money prior to becoming a bookie?
Working at McDonald's - true story
Funny how he got an answer from God about wether he should gamble or not. I never got one on more pressing matters.
