For the love of God, Lowrance, please update your HDS Live software so I can use both of my 3 in 1 transducers from my HDS Live 12 unit. I have a Ghost trolling motor that I updated with "your recommended" 3 in 1 transducer. Turns out it is not compatible with your blue connector channel one port. Side Scan goes away and there is a myriad of setup issues. Please fix this with a software update that allows me to use 3 in 1 on both Channel 1 AND Channel 2 transducer ports. Thank you!!

I have an old gen 2 non touch hds 12 and 7 that I want to link. Since the one unit already has the one Ethernet port in usel, I would guess I have two options. NMEA connection or plug into my network expansion port that my one unit is already being fed Ethernet from?

Mine not work depth not showing water temp is looking good. There is no stopped sign on screen. I bought new transducer assuming it’s faulty. Unfortunately same issue occur. 😢

Hello John, question for you if I may. I have a Lowrance FS9 Unit with a Motor Guide Xi5 Connected thru the MG Gateway and NMEA 2000. I mainly troll for Trout & Kokanee. I am trying to dial my system in for following routes in autopilot mode; but haven't had a lot of success as the system seems to have a mind of it's own at times. I could be wrong; but I believe it may be a GPS issue. Would installing a Point-1 AP GPS system be very beneficial for what I'm trying to do? Thanks, John K.

I am having trouble with some of the functions on My hds live and Carbon when it comes to controlling the trolling motor from the Units. First lets start off what I can do. 1. I can create routes and tell the trolling motor to follow them. I can tell it to go to a waypoint or cursor. I can jog the motor when in Anchor. And here is where the problem starts. I can only anchor from my remote or foot pedal. The Anchor button, course lock, turns, and Nav buttons that are gray do not work. won't do a thing. How do I fix that.

Hi. I have a new 12" lowrance hds live. The unit comes with a 3 in 1 transducer. I am going to mount a 1kw Airmar transducer on the transom also. I need this for deep water reef fishing What is tge easiest way to switch between the two transducers on the headset please?. Cheers Bob.

How do you add an additional transducer to a HDS Carbon (Ghost 3-in-1), effectively using the Ghost's 3-in-1 on the bow, as well as the one mounted on the stern? If the views from both can't be seen at the same time using the split screen on the Carbon, is there a Y-connector or switch box that can be added to change between the two transducers so you can view the one you want? That way I don't have to keep disconnecting sonar cables. The other cables are set up on NMEA, so it basically just comes down to how to get both sonar cables on the same terminal. Thanks!

The TMC puck came with the ghost. Do I have to keep that if I install a point 1. If so, can I keep that hidden underneath the dash

I also don’t get an option to select either CH1 or CH2 under settings-Sonar. The first two items are: Internal Sonar on/off and Network Sonar on/off. Display does not show what you pointed out on the demo.

Keep getting an error when I select sidescan with the AI 3 in 1 connected to CH1 on my hds-7 live. Why does it do this? It tells me “a sidescan capable transducer has been connected to CH1. The CH1 sonar connection is not capable of displaying sidescan data from this transducer. Please power down your display then move the connected transducer to CH2”

Question pls im looking at elite 7 and hooks reveal 5. I need to know which one is better for deeper water? I know hooks reveal 5 has 50khz transducer but elite 7 has different one with unknown khz?

May be useful to know which Lowrance devices support what. The Reveal units come with Genesis Live, the older and cheaper models you would need to record sonars and then convert them into maps etc. Which devices support live map creation and which ones can you overlay the "live" map over navionics?

Is there live mapping on the Hook Reveal 9?
