Did you ever have any issues with bar wobble on r1 recently got a old 5jj r1 love the bike but noticed a few times a fair bit of bar shake on full acceleration
Can't say I ever did tbh,I'd def put a good ohlins damper on it thou n it might help
Nowhere near as quick as your k5 in the videos thats some serious skills have a k2 and k5 1000 prefer over the new stuff. Had a 96 blade aswell
Ah tbf to it the blade was a lovely bike but jst wouldn't hold a candle to the k6 in every department plus that was my 1st year on the island so didn't really know where I was goin 🙈😂,cheers my goodman 👍

I was very surprised how fast that McLaren was! Shame you had to negotiate traffic which spoiled your lines slightly, but its great this is still a thing in these days of nanny state

k6 would smoke that mclaren on a straight line obviously. What comes to corners everything depends on a rider. The rider in the video could more I am sure, but this isn't a safe racetrack where you could push the bike to its limits. It's pretty dangerous for the rider.
Unfortunately every year idiots like this are scraped off our roads and sometimes take innocent people with them. Get a race licence if you think you're that good!!!

I know it's old but I had to reply....when it's TT fortnight that road IS a racetrack you melt - everyone knows the risks, no run offs etc it's their choice....you're just pissed coz you ain't got the bollocks to go ride it yourself

Fare play to you mate I go to the TT every year and that is one of the best on board mountain rides I've seen, you know the mountain really well, I take it it was early morning to be so quite, give it to the car driver as well he could drive that motor.
Look for Two up TT, that's another crazy one.

I'd say I am :). Well ridden - Smooth, fast and courteous to other road users - Just the kind of riders we welcome and like to have fun with - Remember the section up to and past the Goosey is 50MPH - You might want to edit that bit out.
A better rider snd that car wouldn't been Seen!! On the street no supercars have ever hanged with me but there are riders that fucks me as well!! Both has skills

Learn to blip the throttle dude - And don't be such a dick to cars on the road. We don't want to alienate the last bike loving populous on earth. I would have preferred to have seen the bike in front, clearly a more experienced rider.

Pro... maybe.. Veteran definitely. Trust me, most "pros" would tell you the same thing. On bikes without slipper clutches - blip the throttle on downshifts. You'll enter corners much smoother and thus you will be faster in and out of them. Not to mention you'll save your friction plates, wrist pins,rings, rod bearings... etc etc...
