IF the injectors are not Clean and MIST the diesel fuel, then you WILL turn this engine into a LUMP of Molten metal waste!!! Fuel cleanliness it is empirical.. Most diesel owners are stupid in general. Neglectful! Clean fuel clean injectors / clean fuel delivery are your # !-2 Priority!!! Clean Oil in eng & Filter -tran filter & oil are right next priority!!!!!

They need to make the same swap kit for the Cummins as well. I think that would be pretty sick.

Good diagnosis. Used to work on a small fleet of 6.0 trucks. Never had an issue with fuel starvation .Would never thought to look there.

I’m in the process of a total rebuild on my 6.4 also!! Just ordered a new bare block today, should be here next Friday. Will definitely keep watching for pointers

I have a 2004 f250 6.0, base oil pressure according to the gauge at idle when cold. Then when it warms up, it drops to none at idle. Normal above 850rpms. I have replaced the oil pressure switch. Any ideal?

I just installed a Mahle gaskets on my 6.0 bed plate with ta-31 under the seal. How far will the end of the gaskets protrude past the block once you get it torqued down? Thanks

Benny, thanks for spreading the news about the quart of dirty oil trapped in the 2017-2024 Duramax. The solution is a Banks CoolRunner Oil Pan. Keep up the great work.

I have the 6.4 powerstroke. My tech says its that. This job is mad expensive. But however i fill it up and runs well. The problem it gives is when i drive it above the 60mph
