Err yes I'm having safe Sex None at all. Thank you.
It's not the Ghosts you have to worry about, It's the Live Bugger Cimbing in your window.
York is my favourite City to visit I Love the History. Pubs Food.
Wow, Lacock. I'm impressed.
Enjoyed this video very much, one of the best American in England video's I've seen. Your enthusiasm, your presentation, video skills, were all excellent, making the video a pleasure to watch, to the end. I hope you come back soon, well done 😊
Wonderful! I think I must of visited York the same time as you as it was some of the few glorious sunny days this year ☺ Love the way you put together your videos, perfection ❣
Travel + 📚 = An amazing combination! Fantastic storytelling, and appreciate you bringing us along with you!
I know that you will appreciate this, my sister and I spend a short 3 days in London about a decade ago and fell in love. It i my goal to spend several weeks touring London and more of the UK in the next few years. I could spend weeks just wandering all of the museums and taking in the architecture. I feel like I could happily live there the rest of my life and not see everything. I imagine you understand that feeling.
Great vlog! I love London - it's my favourite city in the world
If you ever wanted to revisit London, and cover some of the KEY must do’s that you missed, with one of our TH-cam specialists as guides, we would welcome you over. You did miss out on the National dish of England for instance.
Fish and chips bought in a pub and eaten from a plate IS NOT AND NEVER CAN BE 'proper' fish and chips.
Excellent video.
One of the best "American in London" videos that I've seen. If you'd made it to Lacock Abbey, you would have discovered that it was the home of Henry Fox Talbot who was a pioneer of photography and, importantly, invented the photographic negative (there's also the remains of a nuinnery, some Tuidor bits etc. etc.)
I absolutely LOVE the enthusiasm and energy of Anglophile Americans (and Canadians, too, of course!)😀
Only six people were executed on that spot, all the others took place on Tower Hill, well outside the tower itself. You could've taken one of the free Yeoman Warders tours where they give you the history, mixed with a large amount of dark humour. They were formed in 1485 as bodyguards to Henry VII, Beefeaters predate the British Army, if you were lucky you may have got Yeoman Warder Chris Skaife, his main job is looking after the Ravens, and has the cool job title of "Raven Master".
Loved how u put this video together😊narration, pics, energy! What an awesome family London time u guys had ☺️❣️
im glad you had a good time
Parliament Hill, Lavender Hill, Glastonbury, many others
I’m going to London in 2025, and am going to use your vlog to help with my tour planning. Thank you for sharing your experience. Great content, narration, and music.
That was oh so fun! Liked 👍🏻 subscribed 👍🏻 I too have a fascination with London - planning on a trip there in 2026 and you’ve given me ideas 👏🏼Looks so fun 🤩 can’t wait to do the speakeasies 🙌🏼 There is a London vlogger I enjoy - Hannah Ricketts you may enjoy as well? Anyway, love your relaxed style - American here. Look forward to your next one 😊👍🏻
What a lovely video! Thank you. So nice to hear from nice intelligent Americans...so touched to learn that your dream came true! 🙂 🙂
I wish they wouldn't perpetuate the myth that Anne Boleyn was executed on Tower Green, she was actually executed in the area between the White Tower and the now Jewel house.
Excellent ❤❤
Im Proud of The United kingdom and Irelands history and for Producing Great Literature. The British Library with it its Collection 170 million Books or Written items. Is an institution that must be Cherished .It collects every book published in the UK and Ireland every year .The Act of Banning Books that is happening in America is a very Dangerous move .Only other time i can think of this occurring is Nazi Germany in the 1930s. And look where that Lead too .
Joanne Rowing has said that, although platform 9 3/4 is at King's Cross in the books, she had St. Pancras in mind when she first wrote it. The films show this.
Your Dad actually kept his hat on inside the restaurant? Whoa. We consider that bad form.
If you are a true bookworm the place to visit is Hay-on-Wye; it is universally regarded as the second-hand book capital of the world, with more bookshops than any other place worldwide. on our visit there, some time ago now, my wife rationed me to 2 bookshops a day, on pain of the threat of divorce proceedings.
Nice video but what on earth is public transit ? I live in London and never heard it called that 😂 refreshing to hear an educated American rather than one obsessed with children’s books about wizards. You noticed the statues of various historical figures on horses. If the horses front legs are up the person died in battle , if the legs are grounded the person died of natural causes. Have encountered some very rude and entitled American tourists but you are a far better advert for your country. Enjoyed your vlog and glad you liked the city. Love from London ❤
"The Tardis" isn't actually a tourist attraction as such, but a genuine old police box. Most of Dr Who (the modern version) was recorded in and around Cardiff, so not that much in London.
I would like to ask a question, sorry if its a bit off topic, i see through your trip, you visited alot of pubs and had alot of pub, only way to do it in my opinion, But howdid you find the pub culture compared to american bars, that sort of thing
im from the Uk, i also have lived in London for10 years, i have watched 100's of video about UK trips, this has to be the best i have seen, with your video, edit and narration, the naration, i though i was watching the hsitory channel on TV
Outstanding music choices throughout this video! I'm impressed you got so much done. It looked like a great trip.
What a lovely vid. Happy to subscribe
This has to be one of the best vlogs I've seen of a short trip to London. I have to ask, have you read the Rivers of London books (urban fantasy/police procedural)? The author, Ben Aaronovich, was also a Dr.Who script writter, and former Waterstone's employee (one of the short stories is set in one of their stores). It's also been adapted to a Chaosium TTRPG.
How did you find the motherland I hope she was all you expected there really is no place on this earth like the UK the birth place Of the modern civilised world
I hope you come back and see more of the country, there are so many amazing , beautiful places to see.
Enjoyed your volggs very much . If you ever come back definately we'll worth going inside westminster Abbey it's full of incredible sculptures and Tombs of various monarchs including Queen Elizabeth the first and Mary Queen of Scott's. 😊
The Manta ray looks like Cassandra from modern Dr Who, the actress who plays her is the daughter of the man behind the modern Shakespeare's Globe. Wikipedia: The modern Shakespeare's Globe was founded by the actor and director Sam Wanamaker, and built about 230 metres (750 ft) from the site of the original theatre in the historic open-air style. It opened to the public in 1997, with a production of Henry V.
Wikipedia: St Pancras has been widely praised for its architecture and is now a Grade I listed building. St Pancras came under threat during the 20th century; damaged in both World War I and World War II by bombs, and then in the late 1960s by plans to demolish it entirely and divert services to King's Cross and Euston. A passionate campaign to save the station, led by the Victorian Society, Jane Hughes Fawcett, and Poet Laureate John Betjeman, [7] was successful, and St Pancras was awarded Grade I listed status just 10 days before demolition was due to commence. [8]
Thank you for pronouncing Van Gogh correctly!
In the 60's....they wanted to destroy St Pancras Station......it was the poet Sir John Betjeman that campaigned to save it from destruction.
It is St. Pancras and not an abdominal gland?
@@BP-kx2ig Well done smart arse.
Great vlog. More please. 😊
Avebury is far better than Stonehenge IMHO
You should totally visit to Hull. Theres tons to do there. If was voted "capital of culture" in 2017. Coventry is the current Capital of Culture but it is set to be Bradford in 2025. Hull is famous for "The Deep" , which is an aquarium that is under the sea! They also have an awesome Streetlife Museum, which is a museum that is set up like an old street complete with old shops as the exhibits. Theres a bunch of other museums near it. It's a town that grew due to the fishing industry, so it has a Maritime museum, but unfortunately its gonna be closed for a while as the roof needs fixing 😔. The Hull and East Riding museum is good though, got a bunch of archeological stuff in there. Both the Streetlife Museum and Hull & East Riding Museum is free entry. The UK has many many free museums and art galleries. A couple of other places in Hull to visit "Ye Olde White Harte" pub which is from the 1500s. Be sure to see the skull inside! 💀. And the Fruit Market , which is a big shopping/culture district with restaurants and cafes etc. Popular for date nights
Really nice video. Hope you get to see more of the UK, was nice to see you visit some different tourist attractions such as the aquarium and the Dungeons.
Interesting that you highlight the design of St Pancras station just after explaining how iconic you find the Houses of Parliament. The design used for St Pancras was the one which came second in the competition to design the new Houses of Parliament after the original building burned down in 1834.
I loved going to the M&M store in nyc all the time when I lived there. Just making the mixes was fun!
Beautiful lady I’d recommend hiring a little mobile home it would save you a fortune. Also try and see Scotland xx❤
For Fecks sake girl for a Yank you talk faster than me - and I’m a sweaty sock (Scotsman). I loved the enthusiasm All the very best. Rab❤
