How do you detatch the walkman?

Hello, do you still have it? I want to buy it

I've never seen a walkman with RCA outputs! LOVE IT

Trying to fix the cassette deck in mine, but instructions are scarce... Any one have any insights into where I can get some info on how to put the belt on? If not Ill go local and see.

This would defiantly not be my everyday portable cd player but I’d use it along with my new Monodeal one. I got to say the Sony would get some looks and attention if I bring it out in public on weekdays or weekends when I go out to do stuff with friends and family especially when it’s spinning a disc the way it does. Overall if I find one maybe il look into it as my secondary portable cd player

Wished WM-DD9s have dual capstans auto-reverse mechanisms like NAKAMICHI DRAGON when they changed direction their both capstans changed along with them rather than spin in opposing directions like with most autoreverse decks.

I have one, still works and in perfect condition. It is number 1242 LTE

i had one of these when they came out. it lasted a year then a lot of wow and flutter appeared. it took sony over a year to repair of which they didnt. they gave me the equivilent model which was also chrome. guess what... it lasted a year then suffered the exact issue, of which mini disc appeared. i still have my minidisc player and it still works perfectly

NFS was such a blast on 3do. the playstation version played like a generic racer, this version like a simulator. I envy you for that wheel. It isnt analogue though, is it? I think the game did not support analogue control in any way. But still, I would love to play with that wheel!

Very cool! I don't know if you are familiar with the internals of these, but I found the silver version of this at a thrift store recently, but the play button won't stay down after pressing it and the reel won't spin in any mode. Think it's worth trying to fix?

Excellent condition. I have one with little use. Works and sounds excellent with the adaptor. It was stored with batteries so im cleanning out the battery corrosion.
