My goodness, that thing is so overpowered!! A Skybolt biplane that flies like a F-16. I prefer scale myself. A .91 4-stroke is perfect for a smaller airframe like that. Nice covering scheme!

Great aircraft, thanks for taking the time to makes this video! I have the red electric version that I picked up used. I’m thinking of converting it to glow. A nice OS 120 four stroke should work.

I have one of these new in box. I also have NIB a Thunder Tiger FS91 to power it. Looking forward to getting it in the air. I also plan to make a couple of changes (nothing major) one being putting 2 servos on the elevators rather than a single one that moves both push rods. I also think I will make the rudder a pull-pull. There's another video that gave me these ideas, and there are 4 tubes pre-installed in the ARF that can be used to accomplish this. A little extra work, but should add to the stability when doing aerobatics.

Do you happen to know the prop size?

Nice! I had one Sig Spacewalker 2 1/4 with an OS FT 160 boxer converted to gasolin . Very nice flier at plus idle rpm. I sold it more than ten years ago .I thing it is still "alive" somewhere.

I like the spacewalks, I had the single seater, up to about a year ago. Mine was a fourth size with a Saito 82b four stoke engine. I’m working on a 1/3 scale, with a 40cc twin boxer engine gasoline.

Is that a check valve on the pressure line from the muffler back to the fuel tank? Unless you have a regulator then I don’t understand how it doesn’t flood out at idle.

Hi, I have become a ryan sta too,1,80meters wingspan,with a moki 25rc engine(methanol,but dont run),weight is empty-5,2kg.. The body is gfk,and have only 2 wood sheets inside(for servos)...the wing is in 1 piece. I will make her ready for the summer. But i have no informations about the cg,wingloading ect,because i dont know the brand.maybe its a "sig" too,looks close to yours🤔.but mine have no flaps. Maybe you can show the inside from the plane? Mine is powered by a Saito FA-45 (MK I!) an the power is enough. No struts between fuselage and wing. It flies really scale a little bit nervous at the elevator but lands super soft. The one in the little movie is pretty fast and the OS seems to overpower the aircraft the throttle is to often to wide open for that type of plane. Reduce power and put it on the ground softly without bouncing.

I've always hated how a DLE 20 sounds. I've never heard anyone get them to run smoothly.

Beautiful Piper Cub! My son found one on FB Market in need for TLC for just $50, with a 25cc 2 stroke gas engine, 1/4 scale from Balsa USA. I will be converting it to electric this winter and adding floats. 🙂
