I’d put the original muffler back on. You can hear the motor’s boxer oddities better. Classic sounds.
What helmet and coms are you rocking? Sounds amazing
@joelleat1201 I've got a shoei and a gopro 8 with the media mod and a mic that plugs straight into the media mod running to my chin inside the helmet
Tourque monster, owned one from 2012 to 2019, loved it, super reliable, did long distance touring two up, commuted with it, great bike in the twisties, it does everything well and was a joy to ride.
prööt prööt
there are the default exhausts? diference sound between the X and T? Thanks!
@EmergenciasGalicia big difference, sounds allot better and louder with a pipe, stock is pretty quite
I think the amazing thing about the GSF 1250 is how long it's been in production, and what a great bike it is. It's not a sport bike, not a Tour bike, not a cruiser, not a flashy bike, just a great all-around reliable bike with a wonderful powerband, which is what most people who ride really want. Definitely a home run for Suzuki, even though it's sadly overlooked here in the States because it doesn't fit any popular category. The SV650 has always sold much better until Suzuki 'fixed' it with 'improvements'.
But how is it stock? I know where I can get 1 with bags. For a great price...im a really big guy both height and weight so I need a powerful bike. I would prolly put an after market pipe on it . But that's really all..oh and take off all the bags... Cheers
Great bike, useless review. 13 minutes I'll never get back. Didn't talk about Suspension, ECU flash, Seat, other mods... I have an '07.
@@bladerunner750 go cry to your mum
@@dezmotos Oh, is this your review? Actually, I'll just cry to your mum...she's right here in my bed...😄 Anyway, I didn't really watch the whole thing when I realized how little content there was. Thanks for the weather report! 'Holy Shit, she flies' 'I love Saturday mornings!' How informative. Blather on, Dude.
@bladerunner750 whatever man you wanna be a whiny little child go ahead and make your jokes, it's very simple you don't like the video, it's not even a review it's an impression video, if you don't like it don't watch
@@dezmotos An 'impression video'! Ah, why didn't you say so?! I think you have invented a new category! That makes a lot more sense... In fact, I think you should make another one without any narration, just riding around with the sound of the bike, maybe some shots of the tachometer and speedo..., maybe have a friend help by taking shots of you riding by... Seriously.
@bladerunner750 Dude this was the first TH-cam video I ever made you need to calm down
Nice choice of song
haha really enjoyed this man! Been wanting to give this a crack, nice to see it from a more risk averse perspective
I'm 186cm, 90kg and I was just looking for a video like this to decide between GSA and regular GS!
At 180 cm, 96 kg, I can flat-foot my R1250 GSA. I made a noob mistake once - I left the electronic suspension on automatic, and when my pillion got off, it rose quickly and caught me by surprise. It tipped over and fell on the crash guard but there was hardly a scratch. I learned my lesson: put the side stand down when the pillion is getting on and off.
Thanks for that detailed explanation! Ride safe.
Another Perth xsr900 😍
Sounds deep and powerful. A great machine. It would be great if Suzuki would start making a similar model to this one in the future. Got my like. Drop by bro, you may like my content. Cheers.
Being a 1250cc bike the temptation is to ride the torque but open it up and it really pulls like a train. You need to do a video using its full power, I suspect you’ll have an even stronger reaction🤣Yes it’s a heavy bike at almost 260kg but it carries its weight well and handles way better than it should, I really only feel the weight pulling it out the garage. As you mentioned, touring ability is great and the fairing does a pretty good job of keeping you out the elements. Cheap to run and service though it is pretty hungry for tyres! The only issue I have is finding a replacement (preferably lighter), I guess that’s why I’ve kept it 6 years so far.
lol when you mentioned the green shit definitely looked like some liquid burnt
Really great sound 😊
Good shit bro, will check out that area. i'm based south of the river and got a CB650R. Also 1/1 Fifo. Keep it up man
Thanks matey I appreciate you watching
@dezmotos hope a new video is up soon man. Take care
Good Vlog bro, Seeya out there
Does the front wheel lift when just rolling the throttle? Just curious how powerful it is?
I can get it to come up in 1st and second with a throttle snap
Hey man.... Nice video. I'm in for the vlogs if ya keep em coming 👌🏻. I'm from Perth, moved to Kalgoorlie for 3 years and got my license there.... Now back living in Perth. Riding a bike is waaaaay different here. Looking forward to doing that exact road one day when the weather's right.
A mode only! replace the sprockets with racing ones, -2 on the front and +3 on the back.... Amazing. Wakes the bike right up friends. 😈
What difference is noticed?
does it get hot white riding .. uncomfortably so... under the seat or tank area? im trying to narrow down between the ducati Pv4 , BMW1000RR and R1. off looks im ducati, then R1. but comfortability is key
It's only my opinion but none of these bikes are comfortable to me, very bent over strenuous on the back, but as for the heat issue I don't think I rode it long enough to know but it seemed fine to me
@@dezmotos thanks.. I haven’t ridden a 1000RR nor a R1 in years. But other videos are quick to complain about the Ducati heat. Yeah the older we get the less appealing being slumped over is. I’m knowing that’s an issue but I can deal with that more than being on a skillet ❗️🤣
@@OfficiallyTonyGianni hahaha yeah don't want the eggs overcooked mate 😂
Olá, espero que venha para o Brasil...
How much rpms do u use in second?
96 hp? 😂
More than you can probably handle pal 😂
Hello Dezikam, is this bike suitable for a complete beginner?
I don't see any reason why not, it's a perfect entry level bike for a begginer rider
I got one in white. They say it's a slow old man bike !. Mine only has slip on though.
Хороший мотоцикл! У меня такой же!
Beautiful
Just picked up my 250 intruder yesterday my first bike 47,000km still starts cold first crank perfect first bike
Congratulations man your gonna love it, I couldn't agree more they are so affordable and reliable
Im looking at one currently but i want that f1 sound. Idk if can do this
You ride it like a champion. This is my next bike.
Good to see a fellow Aussie reviewing these amazing bikes! Ive got a 2010 as well, great bike. Only K&N airnfilter and Mussari slipon but sounds and runs great. These big things handle well, are comfortable, decent on fuel and are fast enough for 95% of roads and riders, the true 'do all' of motorcycles. Keep on spreading the good word mate!
thanks for the video man, about to buy a vtr250 myself so was glad you mentioned that bike in particular , love from switzerland
Привет. Какая звезда стоит?
Great video, gave me a laugh, I’m looking at getting one of these for my son whose about to get his license
I'm glad to hear that thanks for watching!
I love the bandit i got the bandit 400 for my first bike about to upgrade to the bandit1200. Cant wait there really comfortable bikes there like the perfect sleeper bikes. The 1200 gonna be so much fun.
Yes I recently upgraded from a fazer 600 to a gsx 1250 and it’s a great allrounder I refer the faired bikes 👍

5:56 That potential decimal percentage of Mexican ancestry coming out! 😅
Nice video
looking for buy one of these, question.. how does it ride with the tall guy on it?😋👍🍻 i am 6'1
It suits taller riders very well, riding position is upwards not like a sports bike
I'm same height,no issues comfort wise. She's a big girl though
@@rodneyhull9764Yes I have the same one and she is a big girl but pulls like a train and handles very well 👌
Have the same bike... 2016 1250fa.... Juat a leovince slip on in terms of mods but i happy with that, im a new rider so dont feel the need for anything more.
8hp more without the db killer akro✊🔥🔥
Hi pal im thinking buying a bandit, had 2 gen1 fazer1000 and hear the torque delivery it better, what mods can be done apart from remap, air box mod and exhaust, what is the Extractor mod you mentioned?
Turbo
Great review. Glad you’re enjoying yours! I’ve got the new version and it’ll be a long term bike 💯
Hey man, I'm in Perth and currently learning how to ride. I've been looking at a few Suzuki Intruders on the secondary market. How do they go as far as LAMS bikes go? What's their power like on freeway rides?
Hey dude, their perfect for lams and easily get to 100kmph so freeway cruises are easy
To everyone skimming TH-cam videos on 1250 Bandits, this is it - this is what your Bandit was meant to sound like and the power it was meant to have. How do you get your bike there? Go to Dale Walker's Holeshot site and follow ALL his instructions for Stage 2 Tuning. Do not quit or go cheap or stop at stage 1. You must correct the whole air flow path from air filter to exhaust tip and then add the ecu corrections. Open up air box filter cover, K&N filter, remove secondary butterfly valves (ecu controls these and choke the motor into over lean for emissions), replace factory headers ( don't be fooled by outward look, they are only 1 inch inside), get rid of cat, replace muffler with one you can see through, leave out "dB Reducer Tip" that comes with muffler.
Why would you need to remove the secondary butterflies? A proper ecu flash keeps them open.
@@MrJayjay0420 Probably a valid point. Perhaps at the time Dale developed his mod kit he was keeping the work required to mechanical parts and piggyback ECU module. ECU flash would be a plus because removing the 2nd butterflies was the hardest part of the mod. Unless the deactivated butterflies add some turbulance to the air flow?
@RHAD-sy3oi I think originally Dale did not have access to the ecu in the early stages. With a software program like Woolich, one can command the secondary butterflies open. Doesn't necessarily need to be 100% open, either. Just open enough for maximum velocity and efficiency. I made the mistake of removing secondary butterflies on my 09 zx14, when it could have just been commanded.
Yeah but who's going to ecu flash it for you? and have it work as good as his?..nobody around here I'd trust anywhere near to him(.Niagara region Ontario Canada)..and then you have you to let whoever throw your trusty (maybe trusty OLD stead) and pay to have them pound this piss out of it on a dyno?..screw that
@@dominicfinucci7118 MPG Moto in Sherbrooke, Quebec is the best in Canada for custom Woolich dyno tunes. It's well worth the 5 hour drive for me.
What a gem this road… I start at zig-zag drive, obriens, lunch in Kalamunda and then a coastal ride
I have GSF650s 2007. Had though about shifting to GSX1250FA. Now I am pretty sure I will. Thanks for the video
Yeah you'll love it man, thanks for watching
