Did you ever receive Radio Yesteryear on 151.625 MHz ? It was swithed off in 2014, and transmitted from Mt Penang.
for some reason, 720 kHz is ABC Perth and then Tweed Valley plus Gold Coast, echo effect is what we called

Fun fact: 2:23 is actually a simulcast of the BBC World Service
That 756 kHz play a call and repeat of the ABC jingle

Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I used to live in Sydney until 1981 and did a lot of AM DXing while there. Some of the stations recorded here have since moved to FM.
The racing stations on 1008 are Radio TAB from Brisbane and Canberra.
1008 was originally 4IP from Ipswich. The signal was heard all over Brisbane, parts of Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.
I didn't know about this band. I thought it was a business radio band just like in the United States. I would have known if I had a radio scanner or software-defined radio.
