Freshly received from the machine shop Block was decked, honed, and cleaned. Head was resurfaced and clean. Stock porting

Yes . These cams roars all the way past 8k.
Is this setup good for the street and is it reliable ?
Yeah. Just get yours tuned. Should be good for daily. I daily this build for years and beat on it. As long you build it right. New seals. Pistons rings. Etc. No burning oil no over heating.

@@JeremyRomayes yeah..have to run cam gears with any aftermarket cams. The Tuner will adjust it for efficient power. Idk how many ibs but it kept my head safe when I money shifted twice haha

That was way 2 slow 89 turbo is listed at 6.4 which would mean real world with 100k ish miles should still do 7.5 this seemed slower.

@boomienutcake I have a turbo 89 MK3. I'm pretty sure the guy in that 89 has stock CT26 turbo with low 4/6 PSI. I just realized your comment is 2 years old so you probably know by now. But yeah

Turbo leak? I dont think so, he starts at 6 seconds and pass 62mph around 13... which makes it "around 7" You wont do much better with 235hp.

hmm.... my 1988 na does a 0-60 much faster than this turbo... check if your running correct boost look for boost leaks this is just plain wrong!!
@Soffex mk3 rears are damn strong. It would take hella lot more than that things got to destroy any part of that drivetrain.

sorry but i own both and the auto supra is much faster. foot brake launch at 3k rpm and u were out. i will agree on the autos sounding like shit when regular driving. sounds nice opened up though.
Supras rule. Ive had 4 mkiii 1 was a turbo and it was faster than hell. But there are many 8 second mkiii supras look them up. Oh and vette dude. Your 8 sec daily driver. Yeah fake. May have a vet but do not have video to prove.
@10072018 when i had my 89 vett ,,,my wife drove it 1/8 mile and it went 9.33 @ 89mph just leaving it in drive dork.

yes there is a lot of shiit wrong with it.. look at the dash.. check engine light was on.. i was losing a lot of power..but took a video before i sold it... it was fun.. my first supra t..87 was soo much faster..
hello this is my supra, and yes i did launch hard.. the car wasnt runnin right.. cant yo usee check engine light is on..it's bone stock no mods.. that was my 2nd supra turbo.. was just video'ing for fun.. and it is long gone..
