@@solg1391 Haines City is pretty small and quiet. Like most cities there are places to stay away from but you'll see them a mile away and know where they are. We have an excellent sheriff and sheriff's department. If you have a specific concern or want to get crime data call the non-emergency number to the sheriff's dept and ask. @@yourmoveflorida We’ve just got back from a wonderful 2 week holiday on Southern Dunes, Haines City. Felt very safe although we didn’t do much walking around the immediate area, but did drive to the lakes and surrounding areas and felt completely safe.

We are seeing that everywhere. One homeless guy camps out at the US post office on central and there's a tent under one of the bridges on Cypress Gardens Blvd. It's not just here it's going on across the country.

Winter haven is a "city" acting like its miami with the prices
I agree, home prices are insane but they are leveling off some from 2020. There just aren't enough homes coming on the market or being built to bring the prices down.

Full? Lived next door to a small empty lot for 25 years - It now has a home 7 feet from me!!! - There went the charm of this established 50's neighborhood. Wish city/county planners would consider how tightly they want people to live. Are we sardines?
