A cardigan .. never ever knitted one too .. but just finished the Dustland sweater for my husband (pattern also by Stephen West) maybe I will start a Riddari too 😊. Lovely work!! I am a beginner and I have done 3 hats and one scarf! I wanted to learn first how to increase and decrease and get a stable peace while knitting. Now… a cardigan… the old fashion way. Back, 2 fronts, sleeves and finish. Will take me until next winter!

Thank you for sharing your knitting! I do watch Veronika's podcast and had forgotten about her hat pattern. I have made 2 Musselburgh hats...they took a long time but worth their warmth - I gave them as gifts. I love the colors in your Riddari sweater - another pattern I had forgotten about! I knit a lot in winter too - it is cold here in Michigan. I hope you do more videos about what you are knitting....it is so interesting to see what you have to say. Stay warm and take care. 🧶

I can't wait to see your finished colorful cardigan. I'm glad you are making a cardigan. There are times it's nice to have one to put on or take off when needed. You mentioned the sweater was a pattern by Stephen West. In regard to the ends you will have to work in, Stephen has a video that shows how he weaves his ends in. You might want to look that up and watch it. It's never too late to try something new. I just recently learned this technique and have put it to good use already. Good luck on your sweater! Also, I loved the hats you made and I also love the blue one. It looks super cozy and warm!

Thank you for showing your knits. I have not knit a Musselburgh yet but I have got the pattern. I’m currently knitting a cowl and my very first ranunculus top. You will still be able to buy the Stephen west pattern and knit the shawl at your own pace, I have seen some really nice ones that people have done and I love the yarn that you have chosen. I look forward to more knitting videos whenever you have something to share 🙂
