Lol nice, but what about number of bedrooms and square footage.
It's garbage now 2024, ghetto

How to tell me your a realtor near ann arbor without ayaing you are from ann arbor.
We do focus mostly on the Southeast Michigan area
It's weird you put so many white people photos when it is a muslim majority city, has the largest muslim population in the US, has 140 mosques and is also home of the 120,000 sq. ft. islamic center of America mosque.
just generic Broll from storyblocks.
Michigan is good in July 😅
I lived in TC and it is my favorite place.
Leaving out Northern Michigan when it comes to rural towns in Michigan is a mistake.
We focus primarily on Southeast Michigan and Metro Detroit area.
@, understood. However, Northern Michigan is synonymous with rural living and it’s not just Traverse City neither. Petoskey, Cadillac, Alpena, Manistee, Rogers City, and Ludington definitely have their advantages too.
I was there from 2008-2022. Originally from the east side of Detroit (7 Mile/Gratiot). Then my parents moved to Wayne in 1997. But when we moved to Westland, those were my prime years. Thanks for the video, bro! Currently in Shreveport, LA. Once again, ready to relocate lol.
Well if you're wanting to move back to Michigan set up a calendly invite with us!
"Drag Queen Bingo!" LOL.
How was your holiday season, Matt?
I really enjoyed your video. I'm sorta shopping for a house in "The Pointes." You provided interesting information but didn't address "Why People are Hesitant to Move to Grosse Pointe." Thanks
For a house that's really closer to Ann Arbor than Detroit it's price is way too high for what it is in my opinion. Before Covid it was valued at a much fairer price. Maybe if inflation continues to decline with new leadership that house will be more reasonable of a buy, but right now 600k is too much, around 500 would be more fitting.
Beautiful town
I hope they plan on upgrading the front door and back slider, they really cheapen the overall look of the home especially for that price point. The choice of siding is odd as well
How are the schools? Thinking of moving here i have a middle schooler and a high schooler, coming from Naperville, Illlinois but family is in Michigan
Hey there! Thanks for connecting. I have friends in Naperville! There are a few options for top ranked schools in the area for sure. Maybe we can chat a bit more on things? Feel free to text us! (734) 404-7998 Thanks and happy holidays!
I was a Police Officer in Plymouth Twp. in the 80's. The City was, and probably still is, a unique culture in a good way if you like to be connected. One of the Officers purchased a house and was lamenting about it costing 88K. Lol
Always something going on downtown! and $88k sounds like a fever dream
I grew up in Oakland County and always said if I returned to Metro Detroit I would want to live in Grosse Pointe. Especially now that downtown Detroit is so great.
Its a great place to look into!
Former Canton Township resident here to say 100% to your list. Plymouth, like Canton is too crowded. I remember when it wasn't like that. Also, this was very well produced. Good luck on your channel!
When a town or city becomes a growing area to move to crowds tend to happen. Good thing is there are still places near by if you want to avoid crowds!
Palmer Park And Palmer Woods Do Show On Balmoral Drive And Sherwood Forest Area."Thank,You!!!"
Dearborn is completely crazy in terms of growth. Not only is it the fastest growing city in Michigan (2023 full-year data), and the 14th fastest growing city in America, but new houses keep getting built here as well - which is kind of amazing, considering how little space there is for them. If you look, the city is usually ranked by Redfin somewhere around the "90" mark for market hotness (the top 10% of the nation) in terms of how fast an average property goes from first listing to pending sale, and how much above asking cost it sells for. We believe this to be accurate, as our house here has more than doubled in value in less than six years (with most of that increase in the last 3.2 years), and though we are not even listing or selling, we've had multiple private offers anyway. What people like about living here is this: if you want actual, real cultural diversity, nothing else in Michigan comes close. Jobs pay well. World headquarters to a Fortune 500 (Ford) company as well as Carhartt. The Middle-Eastern food is the best in America, and the food scene insanely competitive, and thus, price right. The town often feels a bit more like a city than a suburb, where everything you need is within walking distance (my grocery shopping, all 3 of my doctors, the post office, UPS, FedEx, veterinarian, bakeries, restaurants, etc. are all less than a mile - and accessible via nice tree-lined sidewalks), and if you want/need a ride, Smart/Flex car rides are only $1 for all residents of the city. Beyond that, K-14 has been covered for all residents for a good while, and the town hast two colleges. City services are pretty much unrivaled (ex: even when YOUR sewer pipe breaks - the part running from the house to the sewer main - the city covers the repairs almost entirely - the digging, removing the old pipe, replacing it, and even the landscaping repairs afterwards). Police are amongst the best in the nation (over 200 officers for a small city, with 911 having a 5 minute average call-to-on-location response time - they arrived in 2.5 minutes to a call I made over a senior who had fallen from their bike and was hurt), and are highly supported by the community. Three excellent libraries. Five public pools and three splash pads, all of which are free to residents under 13 years of age. Lastly, houses here vary wildly not only in style but in size as well (indicating income diversity), often right in the same neighborhood (my neighborhood has houses 600 sq ft to 4500 sq ft), so there is far less cookie cutter neighborhoods with class monotony/segregation like so much of the rest of Michigan. Downsides: the east end (and part of the north) sits against a rough area of Detroit and crime drifts over to that end or part of Warren as well as Ford rd. at times. Police are usually on it, but everyone here would love to see Claytown & the Warren ave. communities of Detroit improve like Corktown and the like have. Schools are a mixed bag, depending on the neighborhood, and too often middling in performance.
I grew up in Birmingham. My grandmother's house was on Willits Still there.
Great place to grow up in!
I lived in Traverse City for 26 years. We moved to Tucson 7 years ago and can't wait to move back to TC. We miss the 4 seasons.
I've always loved the seasons in Michigan, especially when I can enjoy the beautiful fall colors in TC.
My aunt lives in Palmer woods, it’s my fav too.
Wow you seem to have a hidden agenda. Trying to sell more homes? Most know that Traverse city, Grand Rapids, Holland and Kalamazoo are the fastest growing cities in the state of Michigan but all the ones that you listed were on the east side.
We focus on southeast Michigan, such as living in Detroit..
My husband and I moved to Brighton from Chicago 2 years ago . We rented for year, which was a big mistake, we should've just bought. We eventually found our beautiful home that we paid almost 60K over asking price 😂 My dog loves downtown Brighton 🐕 We are so happy in Michigan ❤
We're so glad to have you here in Michigan!
The taxes are extremely high in Grosse pointe.
mmm ok but....ngl , i dont wanna live in missouri.
Good thing this new construction is in Michigan!
Used to live in Michigan years ago in the late 60s early 70s always love it there and love the people. My son was born in Ann Arbor Saint Joseph’s Hospital late husbandown Kolander machine products next to the cemetery and then Bill Tupper products machine shop. I loved it there.
Thanks for sharing that story!
I've lived in TC for almost 5 years now. We live west of the city, zero traffic all year. Don't even realize it's a tourist town living west. Very happy here, will retire here.
Thats the great thing about MI! Drive a few miles from the cities and you get woodlands and farms!
Love Michigan especially Dearborn
Some of the best food around is in Dearborn!
The view of the bay is why folks stay. But it’s nothing like an ACTUAL CITY!!! it’s a growing little town. Racist as hell. Do not move there if you are black. Beautiful in the summer but boring as hell after a 3 day vacation.
It's never boring
Boring and racist isn’t so bad, if I wanted chaotic and diverse I would be looking at Detroit instead
I like Petoskey better than TC, having lived in both.
Can't go wrong with either choice!
I know it's not in Michigan but I think it would be interesting to do a video about Windsor, Ontario since a lot of people who live in Windsor commute to Detroit for work and it's often called a suburb of Detroit (or "South Detroit").
I visited downtown Detroit in November 2024. It looked good. I want to revisit the Detroit Institute of Art. Excellent spot.
They’ve had that like forever
They’ve had that like forever
Still get annoyed places will only take brands they sell. So I can’t take my Kroger brand bottles to meijer.
Besides anything sports related, Detroit is a complete shythole.. i was there for a week and couldnt wait to leave.. ive traveled to alot of states in the US for work and Detroit was literally the worst.. There is nothing to do at all, Michigan looks like shyt. I think Nebraska was way better and thats saying alot.. Even during the NFL draft , there was nothing but yhe draft to do.. the museums are loterally boring asf.. the food was ok,,thats it
It’s no more than 4 hours from Detroit to TC.
Lolol that's a fantasy unless you drive about 100 mph
@ I make the trip from TC to Detroit regularly, it’s 250 from downtown to downtown, I’ve made it in 3:45 and never approach anywhere near 100 mph lol. Unless you’re taking some crazy route, or stopping often, I don’t see how it takes you over 4 hours.
Quick google map search says the trip from downtown to downtown is 3hr59min drive
@@LIVINGINDETROIT and in the video you said 4 1\2 to 5 hours, just jump on I 75 and go.
Always a fan of walking to Black Lotus / Old Port/ Renshaws / Moose Winooski’s.
Sad Black Lotus closed down a few years back.
So as far as mosquitos go people. If there’s untreated water So anything besides a backyard pool there will be mosquitos ! Especially if there’s a pond in the woods they love ponds in the woods
Taking precautions to prevent still water around your property helps the amount of mosquitos. They are a con of having a pond on the property.
Southwest Michigan is the same for construction it’s been happening for the last 6-7 years every summer in Kalamazoo
Tons of xc mountain bike trails !
Its a great state for outdoor activities!
Lived my whole life in Michigan but I’d like to move out one day. Shes a beautiful state I’ve enjoyed my time here but the winters are awful some years I’m tired of being cold in the winter lol
Winters defiantly can be rough, but that just makes us appreciate the three other seasons that much more!
Living in dexter is great
It's a great town to be in!
@@LIVINGINDETROIT OMG 😱 your one of my favorite TH-camrs
@@LIVINGINDETROIT thank you so much for replying your the first big TH-camr to reply to one of my comments
As a Caucasian person from Dearborn all I have to say is that the arabs don't know how to drive
Did it sell? If so how much I’m curious of the status
