I remember when they used to play shows. Most television channels did. Now it's marathons of the bland and boring that don't stop. Years and years and years of the same show with a short rotation they ought to call it the Friends Network at night. TBS has it covered during the daytime.

This prompted me to go out and get my first part time job washing people's hair at the hair shop - and every paycheck I got, I'd use part of it to buy one of his records, or 8-tracks or casettes. They didn't have CDs back then. But boy did he turn out to be a major disappointment. Not only was he NOT the personification of the American Dream, his biggest problem in life was that he didn't get along with his father. Boohoo.
Howard revolutionized radio and he damn well knew what he was doing with humor that said things that shocked yet entertained. A brilliant and very talented radio personality.
I love the fact that the news tried to cancel this guy. He then went on to sign a $500 million dollar contract with Sirius... Then, he went on to make Sirius relevant....
