Shit man full colour!! Zx Spectrum 128k had great graphics but the games could only hold a few colours

I used to work with Mike at DMA Design. My programming pawprints are on GTA and "Wild Metal" (aka "Wild Metal Country" on the PC) too -- although I apparently liked it rather more than he did! ;-)

Thanks for recording these. It really brought the memories flooding back. It's honestly strange how well I remember some of these things from 40 years ago, when I was only 10 years old!

I loved this text adventures back in the day. I was playing this series on the Oric, as it was released on virtually every format of the time.

Quite popular on the C64 too IIRC? I particularly loved it's concept of having NPCs that have a background of their own, in that they move around the game map, if that's me remembering it correctly?!

Great event I enjoyed the day and thanks for the videos! The raffle was a FAIL for me - I had purchased lots of tickets but was sat in the large Talks room and didn't realise they were drawing the numbers in the Retro room until I saw this time lapse - a number for the grand prize was drawn too and not claimed (because the winner was probably in the same room as me) hope Chris reads this and improves it for next year.

It's not working for me. I keep getting an error screen after the main loading screen. It's says "Exemption Error Handling" and it's green. Either that or I get a white screen or one with red writing that says "Warning: Bank Error." I have followed everything you've done I your video. I even checked me ram in MemTest and I have 128mb and it passed all cycles so no issues. Any ideas? I used Darksoft though which is recommended. Maybe I should try the same set you have? You didn't have an XML file I noticed. Don't need one for Neo files right?
