The film depicts the story of age old relationship of Sherdukpen people with the people of Assam, when the Sherdukpen people use to migrate to a place called Doimara located in foothills of Assam -Arunachal boundary where they use to camp around three months during winter days and visit their Assamese and Bodo friends and collect paddy. This system is since abolished by the govt but the bond in between the Sherdukpen and their friends from Assam still remains intact.
