What do I do for 400m shots? (This is partially a joke. I am consistently hitting 400 m shots.)

Only ever missed one shot with it, and that's cause I didn't realize it would slowly fall, after that even without knowing this trick I hit every shot cause I adjusted for the falloff in my mind

I played LOTS of FPS before and skills like these were must-have’s. However, eyeballing is way more fun. So just eyeball it

300-400m away aim the small over the target. lobs it as it starts to falloff.

The 2nd circle is more like 90m

Try the nunchaku trick. Loop your 2 controller lanyards together, aim down sight with the 2 controllers connected, and use the taughtness for a bit of stability 👍

Real chads like myself didn't learn using fpp we learned to shoot anything from shoulder perspective at any distance

I think I may have the record for longest successful EAT shot, it was on a spore tower that was too far away to mark, roughly about 600 meters I'm guessing

To me, personally, there's only one step, and that's don't miss

The Q button is so underrated it can be used for: A. Rangefinding to figure out elevation for your shots (recoilless or crossbow particularly) B. Rangefinding for resources. On a good day and good planet you can see the funny rock from far away. Q on it to tell the distance and use the distance on your map to permanently tag it (until you die that is) C. Kill confirmation. If an elite is tagged, the tag will disappear instantly when they are killed, so you don't need to waste more ammo on it. D. Patrol tag. If you tag a mf and your guy says "enemy patrol", that tag is gonna stick on them until they are either killed or despawned, which is a good warning for your mates in case of roving titans or impaler

200m ain't shit. I make 500m+ shots from 3rd person. It's all about experience.

Actually if it's 200+, you can line up your center with the marked target symbol, and hit. I drop on bot planets and eliminate 90% of the map from a hilltop doing this, and take down dropships from 450m while they are zooming. Nothing beats that weapon

then their is my ass shooting shrieker nests and other trargets at 500M+ across the map

I literally never use any of this and snipe targets across the map. Learn to estimate drop and use use the normal white circle.

I typically avoid spamming the mark feature because I see it as saying either "Be aware that this enemy is here" or "Sweet Liberty one of you please kill this fucking thing now!" In other words, I usd it to mark priority targets that I am not imminently about to kill, because if I am, then my team does not need to be made aware of them.

I'd just eye it, hit a drop ship across the map once.

This is genuinely bad advice. Just use 3rd person and experiment at different ranges until it becomes second nature

when i purchased this game about a couple months ago, i joined a dude kept riding a truck and collecting this stuff. He is quite fast, and I was just riding with him, but I have no idea what he was doing and every mission ended so quickly. Playing like a couple of hours and I quit because it doesn't make sense to me. After several days, that's when I realized why I got a lot of super credits but I spent it on trash stuff and did not care about warbonds that time :(

Or you could not be a console pleb and get a pc and do what i did and get a mod that shows in ticks where your rocket land when you ping a target

Why not just use the spear? it does the same damage and you don't have to aim.

Honestly I use it so much and gotten good enough to guesstimate the projectile drop, and usually nail the target on 9/10 shots…I never knew about this trick
