Man I don’t know why but I really been getting really immersed in the Resident Evil (video games) lore for the last few weeks. Been watching a lot of videos on TH-cam and reading the comments and RE really has some great and dedicated fans. Really been enjoying learning more about the history of the franchise and lore.

Some games can be very good but are not the right material to be turned in to a movie. Resident Evil is the perfect example. It can be turned in to an amazing series but not a movie.

The beginning sequence makes absolutely no sense. The character is unbelievable. I can go on - with reasons why this became a failing series.

How is this a "hidden gem"? It was all over the place in the 80s, store flyers, demos, magazine ads, etc. It was even in rental stores. I am guessing this video was directed at the younger folk who weren't around in the 80s (or too young to remember). Regardless, it was a fun game.

I used to rent this game when I was 6 years old in 1992. I ended up buying it years back.

i get that its RE2 and RE3 together. but seeing the RPD still full of zombies n have surviving officers during Leon's arrival when Carlos somewhat "cleared" the zombies beforehand was weird.

But I guess when you're experienced and well-trained enough you know to keep your finger off the trigger and not accidentally fire, and misfires are rare so in this situation I probably wouldn't worry too much about it either. But I guess if you're really well trained, you just avoid it without thinking about it.

I was supposed to be sleep when I watched this. I end up staying up for the whole thing. This was AWESOME

Boring

This was one of my favorite games when I was growing up! The music takes me back! Great game! Edit: You can hit the basic pillars during the run for a chance for it to drop an item.

Check out Race America is you haven't. It's my most definitive "hidden gem". Is an unassuming racing game, but it is very ahead of its time. It has multiple camera angles including a "cinematic" angle. I very rarely see it mentioned.

Please play Kid Icarus for the NES sometime please! It’s a kind of obscure Nintendo game but I remember LOVING it as a kid.

Hard to consider it a wrestling game when you cant wrestle 😂 I had NES Pro Wrestling and MUSCLE. Pro Wrestling was probably the most authentic experience, but MUSCLE was by far my favorite. Launching into the sky and landing on your opponent was so satisfying!
